Patient care starts from the service you receive on the phone to the front office, back office, and then seeing your provider. I feel that this facility has a disconnect now. It's impossible to speak with someone in the office. You speak to someone from another country that denies transferring you to someone in the office. He denies switching an appointment from in person to a phone visit because he states it's not covered. I ask him if he ran the benefits because I have never been denied a phone visit. He did NOT run the benefits but continues to say he can't switch the appointment. He continues to say that per protocol he can't transfer me to the front office. After 24 minutes of back and forth I gave up as now my blood pressure was rising. We are sick and dealing with a lot and now we need to deal with this type of treatment. I'm lost with words. If you can find a place that feels that everyone cares from the first person you have to work with to the physician, go there BUT NOT here.
So far a bad experience, they only reached out today to ask about lab work. It has been more than three months since we made an appointment with them. Tomorrow will be my dad’s appointment and they told me they have to reschedule because they didn’t get lab work, which they never requested in the first place. What a joke waited for so long for this appointment only to be told to reschedule. We’re so disappointed they need to do better than this.
I saw Dr. Arlene Yu yesterday. She took her time and was thorough in going over my situation. She gave me a prescription and I am set to return to see her again in December. She cared about my medical conditions and needs and was very willing to help me. There was a scheduling mishap where my appointment was originally for 1:15pm on Monday with Dr. Yu and I got a call the Friday before in the late afternoon that it had to be moved to 8:30am because of her hospital hours. On Saturday, I received a text and it appeared that the appointment was changed to a nurse practitioner by mistake. Since my appointment was for 8:30am on a Monday, I arrived hoping for the best. The front office was very helpful and spoke with Dr. Yu and got it corrected right away. I did not have to wait. Dr. Yu saw me right away and took her time to listen and help me. Dr. Yu did not seem rushed at all. She apologized for the confusion about my appointment and the need to change it to earlier in the day. She was very nice. I really appreciate her help and the help of the front desk to get it sorted out quickly. I got the care I was hoping for and I am very grateful to their front desk and to Dr. Yu. Thank you!
What can I say... It's always a pleasure visiting Dr. Yu! And if you have ever been there then you would surely know why. The moment you enter the office, it's like walking into your home. Comfort! Everywhere! Staff at Dr. Yu's office is very business oriented and very professional. But, even better then their savvy going about their daily routines, is their genuine sense of humor. And that's what makes visits here come full circle everytime I have the pleasure of visiting! Oh yeah, did I happen to mention that Dr. Yu is a mighty fine professional in her own right! Kudos to all! 🤗 L. C.
The dr was so disappointed, she had the nerve to criticize why it took so long for me to see a Oncologist and she did exactly the same, nothing...she was so in a hurry to leave the run, is like U HAVE CANCER WHO DOESN'T, shameful so shameful 😢
Dr. Sami Ali is not a good oncologist. If, I could give him 0 stars I would. He has an attitude with people who don't speak English very well. Due to the language barrier he pays less attention to them. He also took too long on deciding what method would be best in attacking the type of tumor my family member had. His lack of urgency in my family members case led to time passing & the tumor growing. He also took too long in recommending a specialist for the type of tumor my family member had. Once he finally did send him to a specialist it was too late because his cancer was already advanced and the specialist couldn't do much for him anymore. So my family member never received any type of chemotherapy due to Sami Ali taking too long in recommending a specialist. So I would not recommend this oncologist and I would suggest going elsewhere. Sami Ali is a terrible oncologist.
My dad passed away on January 17 2025 . There is not one day I don't miss him. He had an extremely aggressive prostate cancer. The lady's at the front desk were courteous to my dad but the office unfortunately is not run well. They lack empathy or care for their patients. We called their office to let them know my dad was critical in the hospital and we texted his doctor, doctor Laporte , he never had the courtesy to call us . We know he could have not done anything for my dad but it would have showed that he cared. Now the office did call me to let me know that my dad had missed his appointment. At that point I did not bother calling the office, I did not feel I owed them anything as they knew he was in the hospital. Lack of compassion. Now regarding his doctor I have nothing nice to say.
Great facility and staff. No long waiting time.
Wonderful facility and great staff. I would definitely recommend this facility
Not sure of protocol but It took 4 months for Dr. Khoury to see me because of him rescheduling due to last minute emergencies and patient care. I have only seen him once for consultation and not once did he check my breast or asked how I was feeling after radiation. Next appointment was changed to video call (from in person) again, no checking breast but focus on chemo. I got lectured for being upset and scared. I had some questions and left 5 messages for Dr. Khoury to call back, I had to wait a month for next appointment over the phone for him to respond and have been told by staff that doctors are not reachable but I can leave a message through front desk. Dr. Khoury seemed offended when I relayed a message from my radiation oncologist for records and mammogram to be order, telling me he has been doing this for years, that if my radiation oncologist wants records and mammogram that she should do it, then asked if I wanted another doctor. I said no but he switched me to Dr. Ehsan. An authorization for a diagnostic mammogram was sent, however I could not schedule because they had no records or scans of recent diagnosis. For one month I asked front desk to help with sending records but nothing was sent. I asked to speak with Dr. Ehsan before upcoming appointment and again was ignored. Less than 24 hours before my appointment date I get a call saying that Dr. Ehsan did not receive my mammogram so there was no reason to see me. Mind you I still haven't gotten orders to receive chemo or set up, my breast has not been examined or the side effects of the medication that I'm taking addressed. I never met Dr. Ehsan.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
