List of Usa Vein Clinics's Reviews
Groupon for sclerotherapy with Dr. Sankar Kumar. My first time ever with this procedure. Place is clean. Free parking with validation. The two girls at the front desk were friendly with good customer service skills. I like that they did a complimentary ultrasound to check for underlying conditions. I was not pleased with Dr. Kumars bedside manner. Im a RN which he knew and expected me to know everything. Im here for his expertise not mine. As a nurse its so important to make people feel comfortable at ease and welcomed especially when its your first time. I did not feel this way with Dr. Kumar. His tone in his voice presented as if it was a hassle for him to answer any questions I had. Perhaps hes more friendly with patients whom he knows dont work in the medical field. As far as results too soon to tell. The compressions there are way overpriced $60 for one pair.I will not be going back.
I would leave no stars if I could. This place is beyond frustrating. I had a virtual appointment for a consultation for my spider veins. After following the link to the meeting I waited for the doctor to start the appointment for 45 minutes. I tried calling the office but was connected to a call center. The gentleman apologized and told me to follow the link again and the doctor would be with me shortly. Nope I waited 20 minutes this time then called back and someone different answered. They too apologized and tried emailing the doctor and the receptionist. I waited for another 15 minutes. He finally came back and said they would send me a new link for an appointment later in the day. Well I never received the link. Stupidly I booked another appointment online for the following week and THE SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED AGAIN. I wasted 2 plus hours just trying to get a video consultation. Learn from me and do not waste your time here
this place is downright fraud. I came in for sclerotherapy injections and was told by the nurse that my varicose veins were spider veins silly lie when it’s something you can so easily look up online. the dr then said I have bad deep veins on both sides and need ablation to close them off. the whole vibe of that place including waiting over an hour to check in is weird so I didn’t agree to anything. I went back to the vein dr in my home town who treated me years ago for a second opinion and he said all of my veins look great. go elsewhere unless you want to pay to have healthy veins removed.
They are amazing The doctor and staff are amazing. The staff are so pleasant and accommodating. I have one more treatment to go and have been for three so far.
This place is full of liars. Please do not go there. I had a Groupon and Dr Walter Leach gave me al kinds of wrong information and wanted to sell me a more expensive treatment when I didnt even needed it. The staff is ignorant too and kept feeding me all kinds of lies. Im traumatized after going there. I was so disappointed wen they treated me like Im some cheep person. I called and on the phone they kept hanging up on me when I complained. Save yourself from these pretend like they are good people but liars. I wouldnt recommend them to my worse enemy.
USA Vein Clinics and its physicians have given me a new lease on my life. Wonder what took me so long to find them
I purchased a Groupon for 4 syringes for sclerotherapy. My first appointment was in June where an ultrasound tech checked out the blood flow in both legs at no additional charge. I learned that blood in these two particular veins in each leg is supposed to travel one way. In my left leg it was traveling 2 ways which explained why most of my spider veins are in that leg. However despite the info there was NO attempt to upsell meit was just informative. Then I was treated by Dr. Kumar and his nurse. The treatment was so attentive and careful. 2 syringes on my first visit got rid or faded most of my spider veins but Im terrible about after care. Four months later I just went in for my second treatment and the staff was the same good sign. Dr. Kumar did such a great jobagain no pain and Im looking forward to better looking legs. The staff is great. Facility is clean. No pain. Dr. Kumar works Tues and Fri. The best
I have been to Glendale Vein Clinic at 800 Central Ave in Glendale and also to the West Hollywood location. While everyone here seemed very nice I must say that I am sorry I ever came here. I went in with a Groupon for treatment of spider veins and they do their complimentary ultrasound first. Then they tell you you have venous reflux and the doctor explains that he can help that with a procedure called EVLT whereby the damaged veins are destroyed. He also told me that having this procedure would help in preventing formation of new spider veins. Please Get a second opinion before you have any EVLT done at this office it may not be necessary at all. Just because your veins show reflux that does not mean that you absolutely need EVLT especially if you have no symptoms like me. They should not have done the EVLT on me and it has cost me much time $$ discomfort and anxiety. After the EVLT done by the doctor here my legs look and feel much worse than they did before I went to his office. Furthermore each time I told him of the discomfort he I had due to the veins that compensated for the ones he unnecessarily destroyed he mocked me by by denying my discomfort and asserting that I was complaining of appearance only. He repeatedly insisted that ...those veins dont cause pain.. And just how would he know what my legs feel like to me ? He never walked in them In my opinion Doctor Kumar is a heartless and uncompassionate doctor who cares about making cash for his pocket not comfort for his patientsI had a lot of problems getting everything covered by insurance because the office basically lied to me and said everything had been approved by my insurance. Just imagine how it felt to be in worse shape and in pain and constant discomfort and find out months later that i was even being asked to pay out of pocket Do yourself a favor and go see another doctor I found another Doctor at Vena Vascular for a second opinion and not only did he listen to all my complaints of discomfort he did the ultrasound on my legs himself and validated all of it. He also explained everything with great patience to me and will resolve my discomfort issues with much simpler less painful and less costly procedure which will be covered by my insurance.
Just had my second sclerotherapy session. Could not be more pleased with my treatment there. Dr Kumar was very professional and explained treatment and procedure thoroughly. Staff was pleasant and kind and I would definitely recommend them. I used a groupon and did not feel shortchanged or that the treatment I received was not topnotch which was a concern for me from other groupon experiences. I will definitely return if I need more treatment.
I had a great experience everyone was very nice and friendly. The Doctor was extremely great at answering my questions and explaining the procedures as well as follow up procedures to be done at home.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
