In order to get an appointment with DR Scott Sounders, besides my insurance, which is Anthem PPO platinum, to pay for visits, I must pay him personally, out of pocket a yearly fee of $1,200.00 to have the privilege to see him . As you can see he is a very caring medical doctor.

The receptionist is garbage. His name is Andrew. He mainsplained their monthly "required" concierge pricing for services in a condescending and irritating tone. When I told him that I hadn't been told that they were required when I first saw Dr. Saunders in January but that they were merely elective, he started talking over me saying that I had to sign up for them "bottom line". I told him that his customer service was terrible and he screamed into the phone "TOO BAD! TOO BAD!" and hung up on me. Despite the fact that Dr. Saunders was lovely to work with, I will NEVER go back to this practice and will tell anyone and everyone to avoid working with these people at all costs. See for your yourself, they have 1 star reviews all over the place.

Horrible experienced with this office. They charged my card without my permission for an office visit. They never sent me an itemized bill of my charges. At this time I'm talking to someone that works in a legal office and I was told what this office did is illegal. I'm going to report this office to the Consumer Affairs.

Dr.Scott Saunders is excellent and understands and knows the science and functional alternative treatments. He takes the extra time with his patients to explain things! He is VERY (!!!) HONEST!!!! There are a few Dr Saunders in Santa Barbara. This one us Dr. Scott Saunders IN GOLETA.

Dr. Saunders looks for the underlying cause of the problem, not a quick solution. With deep compassion and a broad spectrum of knowledge, he has guided me (my husband and my daughter!) step by step, to a life of vibrant health!! I am grateful everyday for his ever present caring, knowledge and on-going support.

I had a horrible experience with this doctor's office. They charged my insurance without my permission. They did not provide me with an itemized bill. I'm going to report his office to the consumers affairs. Dr Saunders is aware of this because I wrote him and his staff an email. Will be talking to legal staff about this to.

Listens very attentively; takes time to think about your medical issues, and offers natural approaches to health concerns whenever possible; gives advice about diet and lifestyle that will facilitate healing and longterm health. Dr. Saunders is that rare medical professional who eschews mainstream medical practices of prescribing and/or over-prescribing drugs. Prescribes drugs only when absolutely necessary. And he's very friendly!

After 2 years of ucla and the Santa Barbara run around. 5 minutes of reviewing records and he made a diagnosis. We did some test and confirmed it. Not just your normal white coat persciption writer. He looks for the root of the problem.
