If you have any history of drug use, Lie, as far as he is concerned that is the reason for anything that ails you. Informed me that I had heart failure didnt give me any referrals or recommendations.
Zero bedside manner, totally cold, if you have any history of drug use, Lie, as far as he is concerned anything that ails you is because of that. Informed me I had heart failure gave me no referral or recommendations.
I feel strongly to write a review so no one else has to endure what I went through with this incompetent Dr. I had my first colonoscopy in 2016 with his then 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫, Dr. Yen( 9 polyps were removed and deemed non cancerous. I started having physical symptoms in 2017... rectal bleeding, extreme weight loss... I went to Dr. Brichler for a second opinion and he suggested I use laxatives, which only caused extreme bloating and pain... I called the office the next morning thinking I must have a blockage..he was not concerned...I continued to lose weight and bleed, but their office was too busy to do another colonoscopy for 5 weeks...I called only during office hours and was told “You do NOT have cancer”.....I had Stage 4 cancer. I heard him talking after the procedure to the nurse” We will never get a surgeon to see her for weeks.... I was then 90 lbs. Please, I feel the urgency to inform patients that this individual does not care and in California there is no recourse for incompetency. This is a travesty!
Dr. Brichler was a dream come true for me! I have suffered for many years at the hands of poor physicians. I have a very complicated medical history and because of my age, doctors don't treat me with respect or think it's all in my head; despite all the procedures, x-rays, MRIs, cat scans, lab tests, and examinations I have had performed and provided documentation of the multiple diagnoses. Dr. Brichler was not one of those types of doctors. He sat with me as a new patient and listened to my concerns, answered all my questions, explained both procedures I was being scheduled for, and treated me with the utmost respect! He is so kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend him to anyone who has any concerns with their digestive system. I am post procedures, endoscopy and colonoscopy, and I had no complications and recovery was easy. He and his team took very good care of me. Thank you so much Dr. Brichler and staff!!!
Dr. Brichler is a stellar gastroenterologist! As a new patient, he took the necessary time to get to know my medical history, which is lengthy, answer all my questions, explain the procedures I was going to have, and above all, he made me feel like my concerns and fears were real. Ive since had my procedures and I didnt have one complication and they were both easy to recover from. I highly recommend Dr. Brichler for all your medical care!
I went to this Dr. For a second opinion, the prior GI had been in practice with him a few years back. I realized quickly that he had preconceived opinions about my prior diagnosis and did not address my concerns at all. I had extreme symptoms and was told they were unfounded and if I had an issue I should go to the ER. Needless to say after waiting 5 weeks to have a colonoscopy I was diagnosed with colon cancer. I found this Dr.arrogant, uncaring and basically a person I would not refer anyone to.
Excellent doctor! Always made me feel well taken care of, knowledgeable and answered all my questions, and my surgeries with him went well. Highly recommended.
Very caring and thorough. He was willing to explain why he wanted me to try overthecounter medications which I felt I had already tried. There were small differences in therapies which he had found beneficial in cases like mine. And they helped. Scheduled me promptly for testing to rule out all suspect causes for my issues.
