My father was seen by the Dr's assistant - PA Liu. She gave him an order for abdomen ultrasound. 2 weeks later I called to find out the status of the order - still pending. OK. A month and couple days later - "oh, your father is a sick man and we are not referring him anywhere". What?!?! Unprofessional, clueless, careless, time-wasting GI office!!!! AVOID this stupid place!!!!
I'm Juan Yan, a patient of Dr. Wu. I've been having stomach issues to the point I couldn't eat and started to loose weight. Dr. Wu scheduled me to go in to see him immediately and scheduled a endoscopy for me today which I really appreciate. The manager Mrs Wu, wife of Dr. Wu, who treats her patients very nice and manages the whole staff in the office very well. Entire staff are warm and caring let me feel like part of a family.
Nightmare.don't go.
I'm SO surprised to see the negative reviews on here. Dr. Wu has been nothing but lifesavingly helpful. I first encountered him with my mom, who was referred to him as a patient. Even though he is a gastroenterologist, he was perceptive enough to pick up that something was wrong with her ovaries and immediately referred her to another doctor to get my mom in for immediate medical attention. It turns out she had a life threatening medical situation going on in her ovaries (won't go into details) but with Dr. Wu's personal investment into the referral, my mom was sent into surgery within a week of his detection! We were so fortunate to have met Dr. Wu. I'm thankful to have my mom here with me today because of him.My sister and I have been going to Dr. Wu ever since then, just to get regular check ups. He is a really great doctor who is extremely knowledgeable in his field AND also goes above and beyond for his patients!
This is the worst Dr I've never seen in my life! I will give him 0 star. Wrong diagnose and treatment.Waste my more than 2 month cause he is very busy,I'm confuse why he has lots of patients since his terrible medical skill. The point is he is very confidence, always interrupt and do not listen what you say about your symptom. You just spend your money to the lab.He wants more profit so he did every check he can do.Sigmoscope,Ultrasound,Lab.You are not looking for treatment.you are looking for physical exam.but the thing is he never do the right treatment with your symptom. Nightmare!!!

One of the best most caring doctors I have ever had the good fortune to see. The assistants in the office speak 3 or 4 languages total.
Just here to share my story, and hopefully to help people out. I have done two upper endoscopy with this doctor. and been seeing him over 2 years. Long story short, what I have being thru with this doctor is just can't be described by plain texts. I have read some other comments, and combine with my own experience, that appears this doctor ask patients to do upper endoscopy in order to gain more profits (upper endoscopy isn't a complicated surgical examination, it takes 5~10 mins to complete this procedure. (Compares to other surgical examinations such as colon-scopy)) for full story, please read my review on Dr. Steven Wu's page from other platform. Best Regards.
Yelp should have a 0 star option.I'm on the way filing a doctor complain as this doctor indeed needs an investigation. My story starts from two years ago. I was experiencing a long-term lower left abdominal pain, then I went visit this Doctor. He immediately suggest that I should do upper endoscopy (stomach gastroscopy), I was curious because as for standard knowledge, stomach should be on your upper left abdominal. But, as a patient, I don't know anything so I trusted him. There comes my first upper endoscopy procedure. After the EGD finished, he told me I have severe Gastroesophageal reflux, so I need to stop eating certain foods and then he just gave me some stomach reflux acid and ask me to consistently consume it.After a year, the condition still exist, and become worse. I start to think it's not stomach's problem since it's lower-left abdominal pain. I told this doctor my thoughts but he turned impatient and keeps saying it's stomach's problem, and then even asked me to do the upper endoscopy "again". Here come my 2nd upper endoscopy procedure. After the 2nd upper endoscopy procedure, he told the exact same thing as a year ago that he told me, and ask me to consume more stomach reflux acid. I start questioning him, and he immediately turned upset and BS a lot of stuffs about he spent more than 30 mins every time when I went to the office visit. (Such BS because every office visit he only spent like 5 mins then rush to next patient). My family decided to force me go back to Taiwan and have a health examination. I went back to Taiwan for a month and immediately found the problem of my abdominal. It's not even related to Gastroesophageal reflux. It's a problem that takes too long to diagnose so now it requires to do surgery to cure. During the journey of finding what my problem really was, I showed my upper endoscopy report to the doctor in Taiwan (and two Interns were with him), and I show them the medicine I have been taken for 2 years. As soon as they saw the medicine, three of them laughed (No kidding...)Long story short, what I have being thru with this doctor is just can't be described by plain texts.I have read some other comments, and combine with my own experience, that appears this doctor ask patients to do upper endoscopy in order to gain more profits (upper endoscopy isn't a complicated surgical examination, it takes 5~10 mins to complete this procedure. (Compares to other surgical examinations such as colon-scopy))What motivates me to write this review is that I want to save some people's life. Imagine if my problem was a condition that can't be cured if too late to be diagnosed? I hope someone is currently in a similar situation like I was and saw this review and change doctor immediately. When a patient doesn't know what happen to his / her body, it's frustrating. They have to make lots of decisions, stay with this doctor? change doctor? Every decision impacts your life. Especially in United States, changing doctor isn't easy. I hope this doctor read this review, and start doing what he's supposed to do as a doctor. You probably killed a lot of people in the past but you wouldn't know. This is unethical and please take lives seriously.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
