He is more interested in volume for the day in number of patients he can see he said 70 was his top, no dr can do good with that. he never checked my heart cleared me for surgery, during surgery i crashed due to major heart problem, he did not even do a ekg, nothing a wave and how he can do so many patients in a day

Dr. John Gavini is a horrible Dr. I've gone in and asked for pain management, a neurologist, and med refills. The meds were filled at a different strength. He sent me to the wrong pain management clinic and refuses to send me anywhere else. And now instead of sending me to a neurologist, he referred me to women's health. I'm always waiting over an hour for less than 5 minutes with this "Dr". Choose a different Dr. Save yourself from this headache and go with a Dr who will listen to you and your concerns.

Best Doctor that I ever been too! He listens and understands what you need!!! His nurse is exceptional too!!

Did not refer. Stated Medicare always changed. For 3 years I handled my late wife's Medicare and.....according to their rules when you're on Medicare you do not need a referral. I didn't get a diabetic foot exam because they couldn't time it with my existing podiatrist that was wrapping my legs....so he refused to refill medications. I was billed for labs. Was told that I got an A1C. Nothing about labs. Now I'm stuck for $96.00. His nurse deserves a raise. She comes in and does most of the work....then he comes in about 30-40 minutes later. Wonder what they would do if...they were REALLY busy.

The staff is absolutely unprofessional . They dont follow thru with anything. They play the blame game instead of getting to the bottom of the problem and resolving it. They dont call you back when tbey say tbey will and tbe doctor himself doesnt know what hes doing. He miss diagnosed my person because he didnt listen to her . He guessed at what the condition was without doing the proper test. . I wouldnt recommend this doctor

My Father-In law was a patient of Dr. Gavini for many years.  We brought him in a couple of times because he kept falling and was very weak.  He also had severe leaning to one side.  Dr. Gavini diagnosis was that it was due to a heart valve problem.  After ambulances and the fire department were called numerous times to pick him up off the floor,  one of the EMT's finally said his leaning was a bad sign and he should go to emergency to be checked out.  The E. R. found that he had brain tumors that were now bleeding.  It took an EMT to realize something else was going on.  Knowing his history of my Father in law having Melanoma in the past Dr. Gavini still couldn't make that connection in his diagnosis,  which the E.R. Doctor was able to look up on his chart. We then had to put him on Hospice.  Just getting him on Hospice was a choir because we couldn't get the necessary paperwork filled out by Dr. Gavini's office.  After a couple days we finally had to go down to the office and put pressure on them to get the paperwork done.The E.R. Doctor which he only meet once showed compassion and called to see how he was doing.  NO CALL ever from Dr. Gavini!!
