Wickremasinghe's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr. Wick's for close to a decade. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and conscientious. As a matter of fact, he is the best doctor I have ever had. Under his care his treatment is always that of a collaborator, and he is empathetic to my needs as a patient. I have had some complicated medical issues, and Dr. Wick has always put in the time and persistence to order the appropriate tests and to refer me to specialists I have needed to see. In addition, he is communicative, kind, and caring. Dr. Wick is an outstanding and brilliant physician.

Dr Wick is great but the stuff are horrible, I talked to Dr Wick about it but the worse part is the he just said "what can we do". Dr Wick it is your name on the line.

Dr. "Wick" is great but his office staff are simply atrocious. We call them and they don't answer. We can't leave messages because the mailbox is full. My mother had to go to the Emergency Room for treatment 3 times because she could not get through to Dr. Wick. When she does get a hold of the staff, they take a message and say they will have him call her. That never happens. She has been in searing pain for over a year and I finally told her just to go to the ER. Now she needs surgery immediately, Dr. Wick was supposed to make arrangements with a Dr. in Fresno to have this done STAT, but his office staff have yet to lift a finger to do anything. I am going to be filing a formal complaint with the California Medical Board.

First, I love my doctor (Wickremasinghe) and the staff and office environment are very pleasant, which would have provided for a five star review. HOWEVER... I was informed on arrival that I will now be charged $1 to use a debit or credit card. Then was met with having ask for a key to the restroom and was provided with a rationed allotment of TP and a toilet seat cover. Then, there was a sign instructing me to re-lock the door! I did not do this because it was not possible without touching the door handle of a public restroom barehanded... I simply don’t do that. Yuck!This is the epitome of inhospitable!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Wick. For quite a while now. A down to earth physician who will listen to your major/minor complants and come up with a game plan. Upon opening the door to the exam room, his big smile and hello how are you today really places an easyness to your visit. On the down side is the staff. I was being recommended for a consult to another Doctor. After about a month went by and no call. Talking to the staff who makes the referral, her responce was I was on vacation and no one else could set up the referral. Really no one else does your job when your away! One nurse ( if you want to call her that) had placed an order for insulin pens. Got the pens but someone forgot to order the needles for them. After physical showing the pens asked her how is the insulin inside the pen enter my body to become effective. After several unrational ideas of how the medication in the pen was to be delivered, came to a brain storm idea to order the needles. 3 days later I was called to pick up the needles. Wow 3 day gone, not able to take life saying medication because of one persons attention to details. Dr. Wick I enjoy talking to you and discussing my symptoms and specific accomplishments, but your staff (If you want to call them that) needs many hours of common sense lectures. CWO3 USA RETIRED.

Thorough & Caring. Very poor staff support and follow-up. Long, long wait times. I am expected to be on time but then having to wait an average of close to an hour is not tolerable. He should not continue to overschedule.
