List of Alliance Medical Center, Dental Clinic's Reviews
One of the worst clinic you should wait at least one hour after your appointment time for the doctor to come and see you, very mean and rude doctors they behave very badly with patients.
I admire the fact that this organization does low-cost dental care for low income residents. But they are not honest with their clients. I made an appointment because I have a jagged crumbling molar that is causing me a lot of pain, including a sharp broken tooth that keeps catching my tongue. On my first visit, the (grumpy) dentist basically looked at the xrays, said "you'll need several fillings, possibly an extraction, and I can't file that broken tooth today because "I don't have the right instruments".They wanted to do a cleaning next, before doing any work, but the next cleaning appointment was over two months in the future, and my mouth is in bad shape, so I talked them into booking an office visit only a month out to address the worst issues, and then a cleaning when available.Today was that office visit appointment, so I took time off again and went in, not thrilled about the grumpy dentist, but thankful for the low-income dental help. I paid in advance. But when I got in the chair, Dr. Grumpy refused to do any of the work we had previously discussed, insisting again that I would have to do a deep cleaning first. I feel like this is a scam. I'm going to file the damned broken tooth myself, before I tear my poor tongue to shreds, and see if I can find a dental school somewhere to do the fillings. I can't afford to take more time off to get NO WORK done and deal with some grumpy argumentative dentist with a bad attitude.Avoid this place like the plague. There's something not right.
I always have a positive experience at the Dental clinic. The other day I walked right in, no wait. The counter staff and dental techs were so kind. Thank you!
I've bin going here for a couple of years . Clean professional and caring. Everyone who works is amazing and always very kind .
The clinic always gets us in when needed. We have had all positive experiences with the care and staff.
This is not an overall review for Alliance Dental but more of a personal review/ note of gratitude for my dental hygienist, Yolene, who cleaned my teeth at the Windsor clinic 2-3 weeks ago. I am generally skeptical of dentists, and have had some bad experiences before. As far as teeth cleaning goes, in the past I've been left feeling like I've wasted my money because the hygienist was TOO gentle and not thorough enough, or that the hygienist handled me carelessly as a patient, jabbed at my gums, didn't care about my pain or discomfort, etc. Yolene was none of these things. She did an excellent thorough job, she was respectful with me, she had a steady & strong hand, informed me when she was going to do something before she did it, and was gentle in all the ways that mattered. Thanks Yolene for reviving my faith in positive experiences at the dentist!
My experience honestly has been a very bad one. I'm only giving 2 stars rather than 1 star because Dr. Nunez is a sweetheart. Every appointment I have been on time if not 10-15 minutes early. There have been 2/4 times where either in Healdsburg or Windsor where I have had to wait a half hour or longer past the time I was scheduled for an appointment. This morning my car broke down and I have a 10:30 appointment in Windsor. I called to reschedule approximately 10 minutes ago. The lady told me that I couldn't reschedule and that it would be a cancellation that would count against me. She showed absolutely no empathy to my situation with my car. She explained their policy is 24 hour advance notice. I explained that I have no transportation to get to my appointment. She didn't care. I will never go to this place ever again. Worst service ever. In other words they don't blink an eye making you wait 30 minutes past your appointment time but if life bites you in the ass with car issues they won't work with you. Absolute BS!

This review is not about the staff or facilities, which, in the case of facilities were clean and modern, and the staff was friendly and competent.I do feel as thought I was ripped off. They claim to have a sliding scale. Was I targeted as rich or something?I went in for a cleaning and overall assessment for some tooth removal and bridgework etc..I was there for three appointments.1) x-rays and examination2) teeth cleaning3) teeth cleaningFor some reason they break the cleaning into four parts/quadrants. Why not just do it all at once? For each appointment, I wasn't there for more than 15 minutes in the chair. Each appointment cost me over $200.00!A teeth cleaning typically costs $150-$200. Had I continued to go there to complete the process I would have paid at least $1000 for a cleaning, exam, and some x-rays.Be forewarned, this place is a rip off. They will dink and dunk you, and before you know it, you will be paying through the teeth!
I went to this dentist in August of 2017, they told me they were in network, it turns out they were not in my network. That wasn't the issue, the issue was they didn't file a claim to my insurance for five months, in January 2018. Their rate was $100 and I was allowed 2 visits to the dentist per calendar year. They were my first visit to the dentist, but since they waited five months to file, my insurance company had already paid 2 claims for $44 per visit and refused their claim. If they filed on time my insurance company would've paid the $100 and the second visit for $44 leaving me with a $44 bill to pay. I offered to pay that and their account rep Sherry, I'm guessing up in Portland, basically just kept repeating the same propaganda, ignoring the fact that their incompetence was the reason I was having to pay more and demanding I pay the full amount. There are plenty of Quality community dentists in the area, do not use this one, use a local one.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
