I had my first seizure at 23.. two years ago. I was referred by my primary care doctor. First visit was very unprofessional. The doctor started asking me personal questions that had nothing to do with my brain not telling me exactly what he diagnosed me with. Started me on one medication as I continue to have seizures he continues to up the same medication. I have had one awake eeg and that is all. There is one woman who works in the front office who clearly doesn’t like her job.. but she’s become nicer as the years go on. I will be looking for a new doctor before my next appointment. Also The hours are ridiculous. They are open 4 days a week for 4 hours a day. How is anyone supposed to get an appointment??

The doctor seems normal but the front desk females are very unprofessional they do not know how to talk to patients rude. They don’t know where the patients files. I wander how they took they medical assistant certification. If I could I would put zero stars. Doctor should fire them or retrained.

Dont do it. I had one of the worst experiences here with the rudeness of the office staff who couldnt even treat me like a human being. Told me to be here at 145pm and when I was they were closed for lunch. I can barely stand and use a walker and cane. I called the office to see if they could let me in where it rang 20 times someone picked up the phone breathed into it and then hung up on me without a word to make the phone stop ringing. I just wanted a place to sit down as I cannot stand. Then a girl walks up to the door and says I am 5 minutes early and rolls her eyes at me. Wouldnt even give me a pen at the front desk to fill out paper work. I wear a mask because I am on chemo and immunosuppressants so I dont know if thats what made her so rude towards me. It was childish and uncalled for. When I am finally called back the neurologist looks at the mri for 10 seconds and says must just be my lupus so if you have any other conditions dont go here because he will not see beyond his own tunnel vision. WORST WASTE OF MONEY EVER. There is no way he could have reviewed the videos and 341 images on my mri in 10 seconds. BE AWARE. I am getting a second opinion.

Worst experience at a medical practice Ive ever had. First no one answers the phone then when you finally see them they are quick to get you out of there. Also never sends the information to your primary care physician and cant tell you why. I needed a form filled out and they said come get it in a week and to pay for it to be done. I paid and asked them to mail it. Its been weeks and I havent heard anything from them. I cant get an answer from anyone. Not a place I would ever recommend.

Do y’all answer y’all phones? I’m still trying to make an appt

I transferred to this primary care physician recently and only needed two visits with him to realize I had made a huge mistake. First he told me that I didn’t need to see a cardiologist even though the cardiologist wanted me to undergo an echo and wear a Holter monitor after he read my recent EKG from my previous doctor. My previous doctor said the EKG looked like I had undergone a heart attack. No reason given from Dr. Jaffer as to why he wouldn’t comply with my cardiologist’s wishes. I guess he felt he knew more about cardiology than the cardiologist although this field is not listed as one of his specialties. Then he said he would not give me a referral to a neuroophthalmologist even though my eye surgeon wanted me to see this kind of specialist because of vertical diplopia that recently occurred with my eyes. Dr. Jaffer again gave no reason for his refusal to accommodate my eye surgeon’s request. I was diagnosed recently with chronic kidney disease stage 3 and asked Dr. Jaffer if I could see a nephrologist since this is a serious disease and it’s at an advanced stage with me. Again he refused without giving an explanation. I really got the impression he was trying to show me that he was in charge and would make his own decisions about my care because he knew so much more than my other doctors and specialists including what previous imaging studies and tests revealed about my health. To top it off his receptionist made a face to a coworker that was directed toward me when I walked by. I had looked back quickly and caught her doing so. She knew I had seen it and thereafter was overly nice to me. I think she was afraid I would tell Dr. Jaffer which I didn’t. I had done nothing to warrant her ugliness toward me—it was my first visit. What is up with this office? I have quickly transferred my care to another doctor. This one is a female and I’m pretty sure she’s not going to try to bully me in order to show me who’s in charge. Dr. Jaffer seems to be on a real power trip. Maybe he does better with his male patients but from the other reviews it doesnt sound like it.

I recently transferred to this doctor. After my first visit I got the impression he was all about showing me he was in charge and would make his own decisions regardless of my pending referrals andor suggestions that I see a cardiologist for a recent heart attack a nephrologist for chronic kidney disease stage 3 and a neuroophthalmologist for diplopia all of which he said were unnecessary. His receptionist was extremely rude. I am transferring to another doctor hopefully not a bully
