List of Chandrakant Mehta's Reviews
Dr Mehta has taken care of my RA for many years. Ed gives a great infusion! Sandy is Awesome! Thanks to all the staff! Blessed to live near such a great, caring doctor!!
Dr. Mehta was my childhood rheumatologist. I remember his kind and gentle manner. While science and diagnostics were limited then regarding my ultimate diagnosis of hEDS & Chiari et al, Dr. Mehta worked hard to figure out what was going on with me. For about a decade beginning in the late 80's, I saw Dr. Mehta monthly where he kept tabs on my myriad issues. He worked to correct my gait, checked my sed rate/mobility/spinal curvature, recommended support groups, etc. Thank you, Dr. Mehta.
Dr.mehta is an amazing doctor!! Highly recommend!! I've taken both my clients there.
Dr Mehta is one of the best arthritis doctors I have been able to find in a very long time. He takes the time to listen to his patients as well as actually tey to get to the root of what the specific problem at hand may be instead of just giving out medications. Southland arthritis is an outstanding office and I would recommend that anyone who needs an arthritis doctor come see Southland arthritis.
I find Dr. Mehta is easy to talk to. He listened well, made eye contact and took the needed time. I mention this because I had experienced doctors JUST starring at a computer screen! I strongly believe it is the basis of all human interactions, especially when dealing with patients. I have asked about certain medicine/and or treatments, when Dr. Mehta took the time and explained to me the pros and cons. When denied he made other recommendations. I have never waited to see Dr. Mehta more than 20 minutes, normally 5-10 minutes, totally acceptable. His staff is very friendly and knowledgeable as well.
Great Drs and staff! I come here for my fibromyalgia and see Dr Ramarswarmy he listens and takes his time with you. 😊
Told Dr Mehta I can’t take Gababenton, a few visits ago. So he still having me take various medicine for my arm, so far has not help. So the next medicine he sends to Walgreens for me is Gababenton.
I called this office to see if they took my insurance. I faxed them a copy of my insurance card and followed up with them prior to making the appointment. Maria and Alma insured me that they took my insurance. Once I got there and filled out paperwork Alma informed me that I was out of Network. Sure enough I called my insurance and they confirmed that I was out of network. Incompetent Money Hungry People. They wanted me to pay full price to see the Dr. This was their fault for not verifying Info
I was referred to Dr. Mehta for my juvenile idiopathic arthritis- it's an immune disorder and I'm now over 18 so naturally I can't continue seeing my pediatric Rheumatologist - Dr. Mehta seemed confused by that fact and kept insisting on re-testing me for my disorder. I should mention uncategorized JIA tests cost about 1,800 dollars out of pocket. I took a few of the test but refused to re-take the more expensive ones, showing him the reports from the original ones. Dr. Mehta provided no treatment at all even after lack of treatment put me back on crutches. He kept insisting I didn't have RA- I knew this, it was also in my file- RA is one of SIX subcategories in JIA. He ignored my test results and went off on tangents trying to get me to do more tests with him for more money. He's a money pit and refused to even allow me the most basic of treatment despite the fact lack of treatment lead to avascular necrosis in my foot. My bones are dying in my foot and even after this fact came to light he refused to actually treat me. I can't give him a lower rating but please see a different doctor if you value your health, quality of life, and mobility.
staff and dr are very helpful and caring ..office easy to locate.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
