List of Susan Choi's Reviews
Dr Choo Wonderful. The office told me my behavior was the worst they ever had, even worse than children. But inspite of that Dr choi treated me our of 55 years of horrific dental phobia. She is my hero. The office staff and visiting dentists again awesome. Tru story.
Best dentist l ever had, l really miss her. she's a classy lady
I was her assistant for about 4 years and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Lafleur (previously Dr. Choi). The comments above about her being rude to staff and patients is absolutely ridiculous! She's fair, patient, gentle, and genuinely cares about her staff and patients. I tried to follow her when she switched offices, but to my dismay they provided her with an assistant :(. She is an amazing dentist and I would let her work in my mouth any day!
Dr. Choi is very nice to her patients but very rude to her staff which is unhuman treatment. Also the white girl staff at the front is also rude in dealing clients on the phone, not booking the right appointment time as what i want. My friend went to the clinic for yearly Hygiene teeth cleaning witnessed the girl at the front always texting.
First of all I have to say that I have never been good about going to the Dentist. It was very painfull and I always seem to have more problems after the treatment. Thank God for Dr Choi. ( now Dr Lafleur I have been seeing her for the last 5 years and she is amazing. I had 6 crowns done in one appointment and honestly had no pain at all. Her hands are like kid gloves. I have had a root canel done also and again no pain. I recently had a extraction and when she told me I was finished I had to ask if she had pulled the tooth as I felt nothing at all.Highly professional and extremely competent and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a painfree Dentist.
The staff wear hoodies over their scrubs. The southside office is small, messy, and the x-ray machine is crammed into a tiny corner. They left me standing by myself with stuff in my hands looking for a place to put it without instruction. The assistants seem less educated than many I have met before, and not really friendly. I first met the dentist when she was running around the office unorganized. I will not be returning, as I really found the entire experience unprofessional, and not very clean.
This is the worst service I've ever received from a Dental office. It was not specifically Dr Choi, but her instructions to her staff - or her refusal to make any arrangements for a dental emergency. On December 11th I called in with a dental emergency (I'm a regular patient) and "Jenny" has informed me that Dr. Choi will not see me until the second half of January 2013! I'm in pain, and she expects me to wait over a month !? WOW. Brutal - I'll take my business to a Dentist that cares.
Dr. Choi has been my dentist for many years. I have tried a few others while she was off but have never been happy like I am with her. She got married and has since changed her name to Dr. Susan Lafleur. If you have spent forever looking for her like I did she is in a new office and accepting new patients. You won't be disappointed if you have never been to see her.
I won't go back to her never.. The treatment went pretty okay, but while I was there, I saw one of her staff cried and left becuase Dr. Choi yelled at her.. I was shocked and felt very akward.. I don't want to go there again no matter what.
She has been my dentist since I was a child. I had trouble finding her new practice. She is extremely nice and somehow remembers everything we talk about. Great experience with her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
