John Andrawis's Online Review Report Card

I was in agonizing pain with my knee. I really couldn't walk on it more than a few steps. When I saw Dr. Andrawis I felt that I needed immediate surgery. We are leaving on a 6-month trip in 3 months and I want to be sure I can walk. After talking of over with him we decided I would try a cortisone shot, oral medication, and physical therapy. We would revisit the issue again when we return in 6 months. Well, after the injection in the knee I felt better immediately! I was much more comfortable. I am so very grateful for Dr. Andrawis. He really talked me down when I was in so much pain and developed the perfect plan for me! It has been about two months and I'm still doing great! I am extremely grateful to him and would highly recommend him.

He’s very knowledgeable and gives a patient all information needed and answers any questions you may have. He spends the time needed with his patients and doesn’t rush. He’s friendly and very welcoming I highly recommend him.

Dr Andrawis is an excellent surgeon. He is kind, articulate, sensitive, patient and smart. I recommended him to my coworker. His team members have great customer service as well.

I visited Dr Andrawis on the advice of my rheumatologist, Dr Mehdi, who was pretty sure I needed knee surgery. I love this Dr and after telling me some hard truths about why my knees are so bad ( not a surprise, my weight and activity level) which he handled like I was his mama, he gave me the choice of a choice of a cortisone shot, phys therapy, and losing some weight. I figure I can always do the surgery if I have to so I'm going to try the others first. Thank you dr andrawis, for being so kind and so honest!

I doubt I can put into words how grateful I am for my surgical experience with Dr Andrawis and his staff!! Not only did he thoroughly explain my procedure and what to expect but he performed such an incredible job with the Mako Robotic Arm that my recovery was much easier than I could've possibly imagined! I did a LOT of research and spoke with other individuals that had the surgery so I thought I understood every aspect. Yet I wasn't nearly as incapacitated as I expected; I was up and walking, doing regular things in my life much sooner than I had planned. He is incredibly friendly, professional, easy to talk to, and truly interested in my experience as a patient. I have a great deal of respect for him as a person and a surgeon. By the time I saw Dr Andrawis my injury was almost healed. Nevertheless, he listened to everything I had to say without interruption, explained what caused the pain I had been experiencing and clearly explained treatment options. I left his office knowing that my decision to allow my knee to heal naturally was best for me.
