Very, very impressed with the experience I had with Dr. Nuccion recently. I saw him in September, 2022, for shoulder pain and after he tested out my shoulder and asked questions about past injuries, he suspected a torn labrum and bone spurs that could only be fixed with surgery. I am unable to get MRIs because of metal in my body so I had to go on his word. I decided to proceed with surgery and trust this man mainly because my partner is a physical therapist and strongly recommended him as she sees many of his successful outcomes. I had my surgery in October, 2022, and as Dr. Nuccion had predicted, I had a torn labrum that needed to be reattached and bone spurs that he removed. The surgery itself was seamless as Dr. Nuccion operates out of Torrance Memorial which is my new favorite hospital. The nurses were so competent, kind and happy. I've had many surgeries and things that were a problem elsewhere, were not a problem here thanks to the staff. I also loved Dr. Nuccion's anestheilogist. Made the pre-surgery jitters disappear :)Additionally, Dr. Nuccion answered every single question I had with patience and kindness. He has a super calm demeanor which really put me at ease in the hospital and even made me laugh BEFORE surgery. Special shout out to Lynette who scheduled my surgery and made sure I got everything done as well as the office staff who were all so wonderful.10/10 experience!

Dr Nuccion is extremely knowledgeable, talented and truly listens to patient’s questions and concerns and answers them honestly and backed by experience. A true Rock Star !

This review should have been done years ago. But better late then never. I had a torn rotator cuff in my left shoulder. My son pediatrician recommended Dr. Nuccion and I went in for a consultation. After this appointment I was convinced Dr. Nuccion was the surgeon for me. If you can choose Dr. Nuccion you won't be disappointed. Great guy great surgeon. Thanks Jerryt

My shoulder surgery was not a routine rotator cuff repair. Dr Nuccion took time to go over what approach he was going to take to ensure the best outcome. He is kind and his demeanor is calm. Post surgery one week and I have experienced minimal pain or being uncomfortable. His office runs on time and everyone is efficient & nice. Went in expecting to need surgery, and Dr. Nuccion was patient in explaining that there are other options to try first and went through the expected results of each. After listening I repeated them to make sure I understood and we came up with a game plan together. Top notch care

2 rotators cuff surgeries and he made it worse. Never fixed it. He had absolutely no bed side manner. Not even any human decency to be nice. He hardly spent any time on any questions or concerns I asked. He would be snappy and seemed I was putting him out or taking up his time. I wish you luck if you see him.
