List of Torrance Memorial Physician Network Primary Care Hermosa Beach's Reviews
This practice is the worst Been on hold for an hour two separate days and still cannot get ahold of anyone. Dont know how they get away with this lack of patient service. After 3yrs here just cant take it and moving to a new practice.
Continually disappointed over 3 years of myself and my wife being patients at this facility.I have had to personally call the receptionists literally 5 times over the course of a week just to get a single fax sent.Physicians here might be good but their support staff are not. Its impossible to get referrals and coordinate care. This facility should be shut down. Shame on Torrance Memorial.

I love the staff they are so nice and helpful and I love my doctor Dr.Lee is amazing Thank you guys for your hard work and service.
Yeah everything seems fine here during your visit. Dr. Hebbar is a smart resourceful professional who communicates well and provides me with far better care than he should considering the garbage organization he works for.The one and only benefit of an HMO medical group besides cost is that it should be easy to get referred to inhouse specialists and services. NOPE. Aint gonna happen. Because in an office park somewhere in Torrance theres a team of Torrance Memorial employees whose job is to keep you from getting health care. Its a whole extra layer of insurance bureaucracy thats redundant with the bureaucracy you already have with your health insurance.Kaiser Permanente runs an organization with an HMO and PCPs and specialists and even though its not all world class people like it. You know why? Because at Kaiser when your doctor says you need an MRI you go down the hall and get your MRI. You dont wait 7 to 10 days to hear back from some anonymous MD whos getting paid to come up with reasons to deny you services. They ALWAYS do this. Even though they have their own facilities and employ their own doctors and do their own services they have some bureaucrat who has to spend 7 to 10 days determining whether your doctor is wasting money on your health. This time I had to repeatedly check back on whether I could get a simple office visit with an ophthalmologist because I had black spots in my vision. No theyre still reviewing it.But then good news 2 weeks later they called me Torrance Memorials medical group THIPA approved my referral and I can call and schedule whenever Id like NOW THAT THERES A DEADLY CONTAGIOUS PANDEMIC.No thanksutterly uninterested in an eye exam that requires me to enter a specialty care facility where Ill probably become ill for a month.Absolute garbage standards of care. Do not trust the administration with your life. Go somewhere else.I am going to file my second official complaint to the California DMHC about this company. I encourage you to do the same when you need an MRI and you get a denial letter which essentially means we dont even trust the physicians we employ.

Dr. Lee is great I appreciate her care and I would recommend her to others. Thank you
Why does it take 4 months to get an appointment for a physical called today and they said For a physical the soonest I can get you in is April 4th. Thats ridiculous I can understand a month but 4 months shes not that good of a doctor. Our family will find another group theres one doctor in this group that is worth seeing the others are NOT.
After an interview they accepted my son as a new patient if you have HMO or multiple kids or a kid older than a toddler forget about it with Dr. Rita Tenenbaum. Then they scheduled a checkup visit that only after I hanged up I noticed it is in 3 months and it was their first available appointment Finally our appointment time arrived. I got there 15 minutes early to fill out the paperwork usually required for new patients. After half an hour wait I asked how long I should wait and the girl upfront told me we just called one person in and there is another one ahead of you. After almost an hour they called the other person in both patients came after me and I think they were given urgent appointment due to their sick kids none of them were that sick though one was sleeping and the other one was playing around. Nevertheless after an hour waits my son started getting frustrated nothing to entertain him with other than couple of books. I realized I still have to wait at least another 45 min to get called in and probably another 20 min to sit in the exam room to finally meet her highness. I asked the front girl is it normal to wait that long and she replied back with a pride smile “yes we are busy” like it is an honor. No my dear it is lack of management to not be able to schedule and accommodate your costumers on a timely manner. I ended up leaving after an hour wait without seeing the goddess. My son was healthy and I had an appointment and I had to wait at least for two hours to be seen I cannot imagine he be sick and I don’t have an appointment how long I have to wait. NEVER EVER GOING BACK
Patients bewareBe wary of the doctors. I cant speak for all the doctors there but the ones I was assigned dont listen seem uninterested do not provide solutions and make you wonder what their grades were in school. Watch out for erroneous testing for things like superherpes or spaceAIDS. Be leery of doctors who order tests for issues you dont have and didnt come in for. Taking your copay and passing you onto someone else seems to be the most they do. The doctors should probably get out more and learn about the California environment. My final straw with this office was when I had to diagnosis myself and then ask for the correct medication to be treated. This occurred on two separate visits so two separate copays. Erroneous tests unrelated to what I had were ordered and I was prescribed medication that had zero impact because it was the wrong treatment. I learned later that my condition was severe and life threatening. Fortunately I diagnosed what was wrong in time.I am thankful to the hiking community for pointing out what plant I had come in contact with while hiking and for my friends who are knowledgeable physicians for coming to my rescue. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful here. I preferred the staff to the doctors. To address the review below. Dont worry. After a year with getting nowhere I did take my business elsewhere. In one visit my new doctor completed and solved all of my concerns immediately. My new doctor and staff scheduled me for followups with professional individuals who could articulate their knowledge. They treated me less like a number without a degree and more like an intelligent human. They were more concerned with building a relationship than they were a paycheck.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
