List of Dr. Brian G. Beitel's Reviews
Finally someone who helped my condition. Took years to find him. Hope he stays around.
I like Beaver medical overall, however my most recent experience was overwhelmingly terrible. Dr. Brian Beitel barely looked at me while he was speaking to me and his “medical advice” was a joke. Literally. I left there in tears (which he saw) and he offered NO SOLUTION to my actual medical problem. And to add insult to injury, for the first time ever, my insurance didn’t cover the visit. I’ve never had to pay more than my copay for a visit and on top of him not helping me, I now have to pay for him not helping me-and making me cry. If I didn’t like all my other doctors, I would have switched providers over this single visit.
I am in my late 50's and have unique health issues that come along with my age. I love that Dr. Beitel is very straight forward and incredibly honest with his evaluations and advice. I feel like he definitely has my best interests at heart. He's the only Doctor that I have met that has given me an Oprah and Mark Twain quote within the span of my appointment.
I had many years of experiencing miscarriages. I went to multiple doctors at Kaiser to tey to determine why I kept experiencing this. He was the ONLY doctor out of 5 that was able to determine I had a septum in my uterus. After the diagnosis, he was able to schedule me for surgery to remove the septum...Fast forward a few months and I was pregnant with my daughter whom I carried full term with no complications. He is a wonderful doctor who is extremely knowledgeable and caring. I reccomend him to anyone who is wanting or already expecting.
Dr. Beitel delivered my identical twin boys in January of 2008. The care they & I received by he & his nurses was amazing. I had nurse visits several times a week towards the end of my pregnancy & I was always treated with a caring attitude. Dr. Beitel saved Baby A’s life with the decision to deliver at 36 weeks via c-section as I started developing TTTS. Both boys were born healthy with no problems & are happy healthy 11 year olds. I recently had a hysterectomy & I requested Dr. Beitel to do the procedure. I’m am a very busy mom as my boys are older & play multiple sports. I told him that I wanted the procedure & recovery to be as EASY for myself as possible & he did just that. The surgery went well & the recovery was fast. I cannot thank Dr. Beitel enough.
I am currently working on switching to a new physician. Within the first 40 seconds with Dr. Beitel, my husband and I knew he wasn't going to be a good match for us during this pregnancy. He isn't very personable and dismissed all of my questions and concerns in a very condescending manner. Perhaps we caught him on a bad day but I don't really care to stick around to see if it gets any better.
Horrible experience. Never answered any questions, he would just say “it’s not important”. Found out the baby was breeched at 40 weeks by an ultrasound school! Booked a C section because there wasn’t room to turn the baby and then he “over booked” so was forced to reschedule the C section.
Amazing staff. I love Lucy and Jessica they are always so friendly and helpful. I have to go twice every week. Dr. Beitel is amazing because he's always caring and straightforward with good humor and always asks if I have any questions. It's my first pregnancy and I'm super happy I was set up with him and the amazing nurses .
Takes tims with his patients and gets to know them. During my pregnancy, however, somewhat downplayed my concerns by calling everything "normal" without fully hearing my symptoms, etc. Seemed a bit condescending when joking about my questions/concerns and as a first time mom, I wanted to feel secure in asking, not poked fun at. Overall, satisfactory experience.
Dr. Beitel was very informative and added some humor during my visit. This was a relief because no female likes to have a pelvic exam, but his levity helped. I definitely recommend him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
