I cannot speak for any of these low ratings, but Dr Brockhart is a gifted surgeon, has great bedside manner, clearly cares about his patients, and completely changed my life. Simple as that. I had two full hip replacement surgeries within 3 months of each other and it made me feel 25 years younger. I would never go to anyone else. The only reason I stay with that lousy Beaver Clinic bunch is because of him.

Hard to sum this up in the limited space. I had nothing but problems with getting to see an orthopedic surgeon because of the medical group I was assigned to they will remain nameless because they are absolutely horrible. When they sent me to Dr. Brockhardt the initial visit was pleasant he seemed attentive about my problem and had a solution to fix it, we scheduled a surgery date and subsequent follow up appointments however this office failed to get clearance from the medical group I was assigned to to approve the procedure and guess what?! It was denied saying it wasn’t medically necessary? Let’s see my pain level is 10 constantly I can’t sleep. I appealed it was denied also by the insurance company because they did have enough information. This falls on this office to provide the medical information to have this procedure done. Overall I personally believe he didn’t want to do the surgery. I appealed this issue to the state. Bottom line is now I have to start this all over again.

I had hip replacement from Dr Brockhart. 7 days later after surgery I saw him for follow up appt and explained to him that I have had severe dizziness since surgery and difficult to get out of bed. He said that sounds like I could have spinal bleeding and if not taking care of within 10 days I could have stroke, heart attack or death. He said to call him on Monday if still dizzy. Monday would be the 11th day! My wife called his office on Monday and Dr Brockhart office said call your primary Dr. We did but they didn’t know what to do. We called friend who worked at Redlands community hospital and she found out who anesthesia Dr was. That Dr called immediately and said he cleared his schedule and I must get to hospital now! When I arrived at hospital Dr had removed blood from my arm and put into my back. He clotted the bleeding. Dr Brockhart risked my life by having me go 11 days when he said extremely dangerous after 10 days. He never followed up and did not care if I got treatment. Thank God for our friend who worked at hospital who found out who the Anesthesiologist was and contacted him

Up to date and knowledgeable surgeon. Very personable and easy to talk to.

Shortest doctors visit ever. I decided to walk out of my appointment early because his irritated and condescending tone, and one word answers lead me to believe that I couldn't trust he would give me the information or treatment I need. Maybe he was having a bad day.

I have had knee care and two knee replacements done by Dr. Brockhardt. He is very friendly and competent - he gives virtually pain free shots and takes the time to explain things throughly and answers all my questions!! Very good surgeon and a very nice man!!

Lost use of my left arm and hand when he operated on my broken left humerus bone on February 12, and wired the main nerve that controls my arm and hand movements in that operation. To correct the mistake 2 days later he operated again and he put in in a metal piece after he took out original wiring.
