the staff is friendly and makes you comfortable before the procedure
My veterinarian is definitely more qualified that this lack luster medical monkey. No consultation after upper and lower scope. This guy just doesn’t care.
Excellent
Lacks ability or motivation, or both.
I will never forget having this doctor do two procedures on me. He said in his 30 years of being a GI specialist I was his hardest patient to sedate. As a result they gave me too much medication. After the second procedure he was angry and yelling. I was floored and horrified. We know now WHY I am hard to sedate, I have a rare disease. And the result of over medicating me caused a massive flare. I remember the entire thing while being held down, they said I wouldn’t remember any of it. I can still tell you what they were saying in the OR. He treated me like it was my fault, zero compassion as to what I just went thought being held down and forcibly having a two endo procedures (after all they thought I wouldn’t remember any of it). When you hear hooves sometimes it is a zebra, Dr Gabriel. To this day I am scared to see another GI doctor. I will never forgot you. You should try to remember why you got into medicine.
Very disappointed! First colostomy took over a mongh to get a result and then it was a form that just said colitus. What is colitius??? 2nd scope samething form written in deverticulitus. What is diverticulous? No explanation ended up in emergency and when i got out he refused to see me. Pain was over a 10 and still is. He gave me medicines that had adverse reactions and also predistone which raised my blood sugar over 600. Receiving no medication at this time. Need help.
While waiting for an MRI that he ordered, I was in severe pain and went to the ER. ER doctor asked me why an MRI was ordered versus an endoscopy as my small intestines were inflamed and I had potential ulcers. If he had spent more time with me, maybe he would've thought harder about that. I had to call him in order to find out my results almost two weeks later. Instead of following up with me, he told his nurse to tell me to follow up with my primary doctor....my primary doctor referred me to him as he is a "specialist." Will be asking for a new doctor as he has poor communication skills and doesn't care about the welfare of his patients. Formal compliant will be filed.
I had a colonoscopy and one other appointment with this Doctor. Bedside manners for Colonoscopy was good. Doctor visit was disappointing, he was in a rush, I did not feel heard, and left feeling like it was a waste of my time. He ordered a test for me to complete, which would have entailed me going off my gastric medications for a week. I told him that I would not be able to keep my food down if I did not take my medications. He shrugged and offered no other options. I did not do the test, my symptoms are now worse and he refuses to help me or do any other treatments unless I take the test. Now I have to find another doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
