I always feel better after I leave here.

my grandson who is only 18 months has a fever that returned about 9 days after his first bout of sickness and the physician refused to give him antibiotics to ensure that a secondary infection wasn't happening. sometimes parents need peace of mind especially since getting into the doctor's office during covid is hard enough, plus my grandson is a twin so it's not like my daughter can keep running to the office. The doctor who was a woman- I do not know her name did give a prescription for a chest x-ray. so if it shows pneumonia then do we have to return to that doctor for antibiotics ???? Being prepared is what is required..... this is justbad medicine -bad practice

Information is not up to date... drove to urgent care and this particular altamed in huntington beach closes at 5pm. So unprofessional.

Its good for a clinic type center. the doctors and nurses are nice and helpful. The clientele is shady.

That was Best experience I have in my Life before I was terrifying for many years to see Dentist but they promise me that I going to see Best magicians and he will pull some trick for me , instead even that he pull other trick and I didn't feel anything when he finished , I asked if I can come for next show to experience more magic tricks

The services offered are a blessing! For those of us with limited finances and financial difficulties this company is the answer. Professional doctors and staff willing who go out of their way to meet your medical needs. I don’t know what I’d do without this company. Thank you!

I personally coming here never had no problems the service is good. But yesterday I got there I went upstairs to find out that I had to sign in downstairs which I was not told and I use it cane to walk it was difficult for me and then I was long line I told them I was here early for my appointment so they can still see me. a little bit longer but the place is super clean there was already cleaning lady there and get it out wiping it. And I told him thank you for the good job that they do and keep in this place clean and safe.

I've been to this facility a number of times. It is well run and operates with efficiency for both the staff & patient's  time. My primary care physician works out of this facility - he is very smart, well prepared each time we meet and knowledgeable about my specific health related issues. Cannot say enough good things about this practice.

This review is solely based on my experience with scheduling appointments with AltaMed today. I have yet to see any of the providers. The service I received just from the appointment line alone (888-499-9303) was so amazing that I feel inclined to write this review immediately. I will update this once I go to my appointments later this month but for now, this is only based on the care that I received over the phone with scheduling! It's that time again when things shift around, which means medical insurance changes (honestly has happened every year for me, twice this year) and I've got to pick a new dr and re-learn everything about my new coverage (I'm a stickler when it comes to this. I hate surprises and want to know all of my costs upfront). I was feeling disheartened today after spending hours calling drs office after drs office. Finally, I came across a Reddit post stating that AltaMed was a good option for healthcare. I wasn't familiar with it; and based on the Yelp reviews here, I wasn't expecting much but figured it was my last option. I called the appointment line and spoke with Alicia (general scheduling) and Jane (behavioral therapy scheduling). I'm very grateful to have spoken with these ladies today because their energies and vibrations shifted my entire mood. These are rare spirits. Alicia's light-heartedness was a breath of fresh air. I felt instantly relieved after speaking to her. She helped me get my appointments set up. She even asked me if I had ever considered doing voiceovers. She let me know that she does it and has a friend who has a voice similar to mine who is even more successful at it. It had never crossed my mind but I'll definitely be looking into it now :) I let her know what a difference she made in my day and how appreciative I was that I got to speak with her. I mentioned to Alicia that I wanted to start therapy so she transferred me over to behavioral therapy to get that set up. Jane assisted me. My insurance this year is complex and there isn't much information I could look up on my own. Jane was extremely thorough and patient with explaining everything to me very clearly. Very knowledgeable and her style of communication is so calming that I was actually able to focus on everything she was saying. I don't think I've ever experienced this level of detail, patience, and kindness, particularly with health care offices! Once we wrapped up the phone call, I saw that I had been on the phone with these two ladies for over an hour! AltaMed, whatever you guys are doing during your hiring and training processes, oh my god KEEP IT UP. If your medical staff are like this as well, I will be sticking with AltaMed for life and will be recommending my parents and everyone I know.Again, I have no idea what the medical staff is like but I will report back after my upcoming appointments

Took very long and weren't really helpful. This was even with an appointment. I then had a question after the doctor left the room and requested I see the doctor to ask my question centered around my visit and she didn't come back in and instead sent the nurse in to answer my medical question. The nurse tried playing third party and a lot of the information wasn't helpful and didn't answer the question I was even asking really. It wasn't the nurse's fault because I specifically asked to speak with the doctor and the doctor then sent the nurse in after I specifically asked for her both times.
