I have not felt more cared for by a doctor in years. Dr. Nguyen listened to my issues, my concerns, and my opinions and made me feel heard. Her advice on pain meds was so helpful and my time with her gave me hope! Her training in geriatrics was what drew me to her, but her bedside Männer is what makes me want to stay with her!

Dr. Au-Co Ly Nguyen is professional, attentive and thorough. I like that the visit was documented digitally so I can review it later and follow up on it. Modern facility and friendly staff.

Dr. Nguyen is very patient centered. She took time to go over all my labs, made appropriate referrals and answered all my questions. She is easy to talk to and made sure I felt good about my health plan moving forward.

So sadly I need to amend my previous review based on the follow up care I did NOT receive, and I’m only taking the time to do this because last time I left a negative review for a Memorial Care doctor I felt like it actually made a difference. I was called by the office, the administration, and the doctor… it’s sad that the only time a doctor has time to call is when you leave a publicly bad review but they don’t have time to call when you have a question or there’s some concerning lab results. I’ll start with the positives, I love how efficiently this office runs and I love that they have an on-site lab to do blood work. I was happy that Dr. Au-Co Nguyen was patient and listened to my concerns during my appointment. What I don’t love or find acceptable is what happened after my appointment. My lab results were sent through the online portal (even though I indicated on my forms that I do not wish to be communicated with through the online portal). The only comment the doctor left was one with a typo that made no sense and indicated to let her know if I have questions. I responded immediately that I indeed had a couple of quick questions and I’d like to speak with her. I received a reply from her nurse that the doctor is busy and only has time for questions if I schedule another appointment. This was unacceptable. A doctor’s schedule must allow time for her to follow up with patients on their lab work, just as a teacher’s schedule must allow time for grading homework and parent conferences. It’s part of the job! I feel that if any lab result that is flagged it should be commented on by the doctor. The doctor should address it with some sort of comment wherever it’s “this is not of concern- don’t worry” or “please make an appointment to see me ASAP”. Memorial care needs to schedule one or two less appointments so their doctors have time for patient follow up care. Reviewing and responding to lab work and reaching out to a patient who has questions or perhaps concerning results is as important as what happened inside the doctors office! I really was disappointed! Previous review: I love that the office is consistently on-time and efficient. I also love that I get my blood drawn right then, right there in the office. Dr. Au-Co Ly Nguyen was patient and addressed all my questions. A physical is supposed to be about preventive health and well-being so it’s important to be able to ask about all your health concerns to make sure you’re in good health and I felt I was able to this. I also thought nurse Rebecca was particularly warm and friendly. Thank you

My doctor who retired referred me to Dr Au-Co Nguyen. She asks a lot of questions, directly answers your questions and she truly engages with you during your visit. She doesn’t rush and follows up with your annual testing needs. Her intellect shows. Very good doctor.
