I have been seeing Dr. Effron for the last twenty years. I had bad acne at age 17 and she got it completely cleared. Before seeing her, I had little hope because nothing seemed to work.That's when I found Dr. Effron and she cleared it up.I also was seeing her when I started losing my hair in my early 20's. She got my on an oral and topical as well as recomended her shampoo and an Aveda hair product that makes my hair look thicker. I am now the only male in my family that has a full head of hair!I see her every 4 months for a peel to keep my oily skin in check and my skin looking young and fresh. When people guess my age they always think I'm younger than I am. I believe Dr. Effron's work, along with her suggestion that I stop tanning in the direct sun, are responsible for that.I also love that she has her own products as well as selling products you can't find at the store. Store products waste your money, are weak and never work. The products they sell always work and I see the results.I have always told Dr. Effron she better NEVER retire cause I don't know what I'm going to do without her! If you have any skin issues, see her and you will not be disappointed with the results! Love her!Also, Dr. Effron is a good person. When I am getting my peel, she always talks to me and asks me how I'm doing. I have since referred my best friend and my sister to her office. I was extremely lucky I found her all those years ago before there were such things as online reviews. I will continue to see her until she retires, which better be never! LOL Best dermatologist in my opinion!

Dr. Effron didn't solve a minor skin injury that i had. The Dr. was using ineffective laser treatment for several sessions letting the skin injury as it is, making a good profit. And in the last session she used a cheap treatment that hurt my skin. I went to a different dermatologist and solved my issue from the first session, very simple. And the receptionist wasn't nice and rather rude in all of our encounters.

I am a woman of 67 years. Time can be cruel and it has taken a toll on my hands. Going thru the change of life and having a history of breast cancer prevented me from taken HRT to slow down the aging process. As a result, my skin became thin and the veins slowly emerged on my hands. I have also inherited a family history of arthritis which has taken it's toll on my hands.Decided to try Dr. Effron's procedure where Scultpra was injected into each hand to hide the veins. Dr. Effron took her time with this procedures and numbed my hands with lidocaine and injected the Sculptra between the webbing at each finger. What an improvement! The hideous veins have been significantly reduced. I also noticed that my fingers did not feel as stiff.I plan on returning in another three months for another round in each hand to get the remaining veins to vanish. There was minimal discomfort (lidocaine being injected), no bruising and I went to work the next day doing computer work.

When is an appointment not an appointment? When it's with Cheryl Effron, MD. I waited three months for an appointment and went to Effron's office only to be told that the doctor wasn't in. I showed the rude front desk lady my appointment card and she said that they send out letters and phoned clients to tell them that all appointments for the day were cancelled. Lies. I never received a letter, call, voicemail, or text message. I paid for an overpriced consultation for a procedure that never happened. Their next appointment was three weeks away. Two weeks after I'll leave for a three month trip. What a waste of time and money!

Both my husband and I have been patients of Dr Effron for well over 10 years. We have seen her for skin cancer treatment, cysts, skin checks for moles and other discolorations and she has exceeded our expectations in her professionalism and treatment of all these issues. She has also treated me for cosmetic procedures and is very honest and fair in her assessments and treatments. I have no reservations in saying I completely trust Dr Effron as a reliable, professional and caring physician

I have been seeing doctor Cheryl Effron for over 20 years easily. She is a marvelous doctor. She works miracles! She is extremely professional and knowledgeable. And she is cautious and also cares for her patients. Her staff is also very professional. I have had to see other dermatologists over the years because of being in a different country or state; she has ALWAYS been the best overall. With pricing and most importantly her miracles. I HAVE BEEN SEEING DR. CHERYL EFFRON FOR OVER 30 YEARS....HER STAFF IS POLITE & KNOWLEDGABLE...DR. EFFRON'S PRODUCTS ARE EXCELLENT....ESPECIALLY THE REJUVENATIN SERUM....HER WORK IS EXCELLENT & SHE IS NEVER TO BUSY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS I HAVE...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER..NO MATTER WHICH OFFICE YOU GO TO...MOST PEOPLE THINK I AM 10 RS YUNGER THAN I AM...THANKS TO DR EFFRON....

I have deep lines on the edges of my mouth commonly referred to as marionette lines. One is so deep that it is constantly chapped and drinking liquids leak from it. My PCP referred me to a dermatologist for possible collagen inj to the site to plump it up. The dermatologist insisted this product was the only thing that would fix it. It was $599. I went for it desperate to not be a drooler. After receiving the first painful round for 599 I looked in the mirror and saw no change to the deep lines, she assured me a second round for $499 would work. No other alternative was offered and the doctor was confident in the outcome. Didn't work, not happy and to add insult to injury, I wasn't given the $100 discount for the second round of Bolotero. I feel totally taken advantage of. Beware.
