He is a very calm professional which is great for me. He has been able to extend me from knee replacement with Orthovisc injections. They lasted 1 year ! He is an excellent doctor. Office staff helpful and knowledgeable!

I took my mom to Dr David Kim a month ago. My mom is 86 years old and suffering from knee and shoulder pain. Dr David kim was carless and unfriendly. He hardly even examined her knee or shoulder area. He was rushing out to take care of another patient. I am sorry that such people get a degree in medicine. They are not there to cure and help. The only thing they care about is money. There should be a humanity test before they receive a degree. The staff are the same as the doctor, rude, unfriendly and unorganized. I have never experienced such treatment before. when I booked her appointment I told them what insurance she had and if they covered it. They said yes, but after a month they told me they were sorry and they didn't accept that insurance. A week later they charged my mom $185 dollar for 5 minutes doctor's visit. If this is not a ripoff what it is??? I don't give this doctor any star, but I had no other choice to select one. I suggest Google add negative points to their charts.

6 months ago I requested an MRI or better than just a CT scan on my shoulder as an athlete and chef. He came in for 5 minutes and told me it would heal in 3-6 weeks For AC joint separation, months later now I found out it’s multiple tears in ligaments and my rotator cuff requiring surgery -still can’t sleep on my side, which they refused to look at. Got a bill for 1400$ Don’t bother

Excellent experience. I was referred by Dr. Kim by my PT and the entire team did not disappoint. Friendly, timely, organized and helpful. From the front desk to X-rays to Dr. Kim, everyone was great.Dr. Kim thoroughly explained my condition and all of the potential courses of action INCLUDING referring me to another surgeon who may be a better fit for my shoulder issue.If I am not a candidate for that surgery, I will definitely come back to Dr. Kim.

Dr Kim is an amazing doctor. He has performed arthroscopic patella knee surgery on me in 2011 and in 2019 performed a repair of my ruptured achilles tendon. Both turned out well and I was able to return to the active lifestyle I enjoy. Dr. Kim is very patient, thoughtful and thorough. He will take the time to explain his treatment plan and work with you on the right solution.

I suffered a shoulder injury while training with my Jiujitsu sparring partners. I needed to find a top level Orthopedic Surgeon in Orange County who could repair my shoulder to handle the stresses I put on it at times. I liked what I read about Dr. Kim's training and affiliation, so I called his office to set up an appointment. Dr. Kim set me up for an MRI to accurately diagnosed my injury. The MRI showed I had a completely torn rotator cuff tendon, along with other damage to my labrum and biceps tendon. Dr. Kim's office staff guided me through the pre-surgery and post-surgery process. Special thanks to Mulani for the pre-surgery help...she is a life saver! Thank you too Melissa for your post-surgery help. Dr Kim performed surgery on my shoulder, and everything went exactly like he said it would. My shoulder recovery has been going great. It's getting stronger every week, along with increasing range of motion. My shoulder movement is very smooth! Thank you Dr. Kim! and Melissa!

Dr. Kim repaired my torn labrum about 8 years ago. I remember being pleased with my visits and the results of the surgery. No exaggeration, I was bench pressing more than I’d ever done my entire life exactly 12 months after the surgery—I wrestled in high school and have lifted weights my entire life, by the way.

Dr. Kim just performed shoulder surgery on my 18 yr old son. We saw 3 different orthopedic surgeons and chose to go with Dr. Kim. So glad we did. He is a caring, skilled dr. Scheduling the surgery was a breeze. Every one of his staff members we have dealt with have been friendly and professional.
