Dr. David Russell is absolutely amazing. He is my grandfather’s primary care dr and we couldn’t ask for a better one! He is so attentive, kind and compassionate. We are so incredibly blessed that we found him. The whole team at Hoag HB has been amazing. Including the urgent care. Thank you!!

Parking is difficult. Usually crowded.

My name is Jennifer Weller. This review is about Dr. Aditi Correa of Hoag Medical Center in Huntington Beach. I am so pleased to have Dr. Correa as my primary provider. She listens to me! And she reviews all my health history and lab results at each visit. She is always on the lookout for changes that should be made. I tell my family members and friends about how fortunate I am to finally have a doctor who listens to me and cares about my health. She's a great doctor.

Review for Pediatrics Dr. Natalie Zapadinsky- She is absolutely wonderful! I found her when I gave birth to my son and started having my daughter see her too. She is thorough and her exams. She doesn’t rush and takes her time. We had Covid and they all did the great precautions to protect themselves and us. My daughter loves her and she’s coming to the age of puberty and she very comfortable with Dr. Zapadinsky which is great because I feel like my daughter can tell her anything and not hide any symptoms she may be having.

This Review is for the PEDIATRICS Department at HOAG. Regarding Doctor Jennifer M. Kim, MD.., May I start off with saying Dr Kim is very friendly has good bed side manners, my 4yr old Daughter loved her and her medical assistant , this office is clean very well organized and the back staff is very friendly, as far as the front desk women I would say most of them are friendly but unfortunately some don’t have such good customer service; etc. I will keep coming to this office only because my daughter had a bond with Dr. Kim. :)

I made two appts for my kids. Went both times and got turned away. The first time because the doctor left early and no one informed me until I got there in person. I re-scheduled for another appt this afternoon. Given our busy schedule, had moved all activities around to make time for this and what happens? I was told my appt was at 3:20 and not 3:40. I have on my calendar 3:40pm when I made the appt in person there. Then there's a text confirmation for my 3:40pm. But I can't go in because ??? Please help me understand. Mind you, I made two appts. One for one child at 3:20 and the other for another child at 3:40. How are you not able to take me in on my 2nd scheduled time?? Didn't make effort to help me. Simply told me sorry. This is my 2nd trip there only to be turned away. NO THANKS! I am taking my business elsewhere. DO NOT GO THERE! They are completely incompetent and unapologetic. FYI- I have been going there for years and have only positive experience with the physician. This review is for the people at the front desk doing the scheduling. They do not care that they are wasting patient's valuable time.

A very, very unpleasant experience. I had to give one star just to post this... Made an appointment the day before online, however I called as I was doing it to make sure an MRI was going to be available. The girl told me yes but they leave around 5. I could only get a 4:38 appointment. Interesting time slot. I also told her my husband has copd and underlying conditions. We went and checked in by car, he had to walk in because their phone kept us on hold so long it hung up on us. Then after another half hour he walked in and they took him back alone. Then back to the waiting room for another 20 minutes to get an X-ray. When I asked a woman about MRIs I was told they were down and have been broken for 2 WEEKS! They sent him back to the waiting room after the x-ray and we were shuffled into a smaller part so they could put the gate down on the part they were closing. The woman began wiping the empty part down. In the section we were in no one able to sit 6 feet apart. In the 2.5 hours we were there not one time did anyone come wipe down seats after patients left. When he began to have an asthma attack the desk girl did not offer a rescue inhaler. (we have blue shield Gold 80 PPO ) I'm pretty sure they could have billed it. We walked outside for air and coming back in another girl said they just called you back let me go back in and come get you. we waited. nothing. I then asked James when we would get the results and was told when they had them. I also mentioned that I understood they were busy but no one had cleaned this waiting room in over 2 hours. My husband was choking so we left with no results and no emergency breathing assistance. Now it is 8:46pm and there are no results even on his patient portal. Do not go to HOAG. Its totally pointless not to mention a health hazard.

Do not go to their "Urgent Care." Despite taking an urgent care copay, they will bill your insurance as a Hospital Visit and send you numerous bills for everything and every person you interacted with. This is NOT an urgent care. They are a fraud to insurance and to you. You're better off going to the ER over their fake Urgent Care as it will be the same price or cheaper.
