Dr. Chow is a wonderful doctor. She is kind, patient, and understanding. She is very good communicating with me through Hoag mychart as well. She sums up my office visits so I can always check to see what we discussed. She is good about referring me to specialists as needed. I am very happy with Dr. Chow.

Surprisingly we have had the opposite experience generally to the other reviewer. Both of my parents go to Dr. Chow and feel she is involved and takes the time to really see them. When we have had emergencies she has been extra generous with her time, figuring out how to help us with urgent paperwork even when she had no availability. It's hard to get a hold of her staff on the phone but our interactions with her have all been so kind and caring.

Our visits with elderly parents were nothing helpful. Only robotic reviews of their history and advice we already knew. 11 days after our visit we needed paperwork completed for entry into a care facility. It was already late due to a mistake by another HOAG doctor. Dr Chow and insisted on another appointment over a week away before she would fill out the generic form. Uncaring, greedy and inflexible. We’re moving on to a better doctor.

There with both my elderly parents. Chow was not very helpful. She gives advice that is generic and not very helpful. I returned 11 days later with a form for the doctor to get my parents admitted to nursing care that was already late due to a HOAG error. She insisted that we get another appointment a month out. Na. I think I’ll switch doctors instead.
