List of Kim Tang's Reviews
First time patient yesterday and it was excellent. The negative review people need to calm down, I didn’t wait more then 10 min in the front room and no more then 5-10 min in the back room. Dr Tang and her entire staff were very friendly and made me feel at ease. Dr Tang communicated, explained, advised, informed me, and then went to work. She was outstanding and defintantly going back, fingers crossed it works out well, but I feel confident I’m with the right person. Thank you Dr Tang and staff.
I went to Dr Tang for a number of years.I gave her the lowest rating because when I ask Dr Tang to look me over from head to toe (a number of times) for any suspicious spots, she just took a very quick look and found nothing except the ones on my face. She has since been removed from my insurance plan. Therefore, I had to find another Dermatologist, which has found seven cancerous spots and removed them One of the spots, which has been on my arm for a number of years was found to be Melanoma. This has matastasized and is now in my lung. I believe if Dr Tang had done her job this could of been caught before this had happened. I recommend you do not go to her unless it just to get Botox treatment!
I never write reviews, but this was such a bad experience. I arrived 30 minutes early, then didn't see Dr. Tang until an hour after my scheduled appointment time. It was clear that she hadn't looked much at the history I had given the nurse, and that she wasn't interested in hearing anything I had to say. Our conversation ended with Dr. Tang saying "well, I can't figure it out for you," and prescribing oral and topical steroids. I ended up going to a different dermatologist and was diagnosed very quickly with a parasitic infection (which has a completely different treatment course than Dr. Tang prescribed).
Do not go to this woman! She is a crook and her staff is extremely rude.
Awful. I will never be back. This woman and her staff are rude and completely lacking professionalism. She overcharges and I am appalled that her staff would call me after I left her office and told me they would charge me a “No Show Fee” because I declined services. I am reporting her.
Awful. Do not support this woman and save your face. She charged me for services I didn’t receive.
I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Tang. Her staff said they would waive the booking fee because it was booked last minute (yes, they charge you to book an appointment). I arrived and they told me it would be $1k for a syringe of filler and Botox in one site. WAY OVERPRICED. I left the office and her staff called and told me that Dr. Tang said she was going to bill me for a "No Show" fee. WTH?! This woman is a crook. Find a more professional Doctor.
The best dermatologist, takes very good care of me!
Great dermatologist, she takes the time and cares.
If I could rate with no stars, I would not even give one star. I went in for a skin cancer check. She barely looked at my skin, because she was so set on launching into her sales pitch to buy her supplements and creams. In all my years of going to doctors, and of knowing doctors ( I am a nurse), I have never felt like I was in the presence of a snake oil salesman when I was at a doctors office. Totally unprofessional. The worst part is, I kept asking for a total body skin cancer check and didn't receive one because she was so invested in trying to sell me $400 a month worth of products.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
