I've been struggling with acne and acne scars since middle school. About two years ago, I finally got my acne under control by taking spironolactone, but my scars remained. I tried one session of CO laser and two sessions of RF microneedling in my hometown, where these procedures were more affordable. After returning to the States for university, I struggled to find an affordable doctor who would perform subcision. I didn't dare try more aggressive treatments like TCA peels, and I learned that subcision could be an effective, less radical option. I found Dr. Laura Ngo based on other people's recommendations online. I've had about five sessions of subcision combined with microneedling at $400 each, and the results have been amazing: I'd estimate at least a 70% improvement, even in stubborn areas like my temples and between my eyebrows. I'm so grateful for the change it's made in my confidence and hope sharing this helps someone else find a path that works for them.

I've been seeing Dr. Laura Ngo for hair treatment, and the results have been very promising. She recommended a daily topical minoxidil regimen combined with microneedling, and after just six months, I've seen noticeable hair growth and much thicker hair. My bald spot is starting to reduce in size, which is so exciting. I've recently started PRP (plasma) injections as well to help accelerate the growth, and I'm excited to see continued progress. Dr. Ngo is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely caring -- she takes the time to listen, explain, and tailor treatments to your needs. You can tell she truly cares about your results. I had a very small amount of botox placed for my crow's feet wrinkles many years ago and at that time I was not happy with how it made me look because it was too smooth. I prefer more of a natural look over the frozen look. Since then I've been hesitant to try it again but luckily I found Dr. Ngo who gave me the most natural results and I am beyond happy. She also gave me my first microneedling treatment and was very accurate in gauging how my skin would react so she adjusted it to provide the best results without causing irritation. She also numbed me really well so the treatment felt like a light massage. After the Botox and microneedling, my skin is glowing and I look refreshed! This was my first time to see Dr. Ngo that recommended from a good friend has been going to Dr. Ngo, and WOW I glad I did. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. I've waited a while to write this review because I wanted to give it a fair perspective after a visit other medical spas. I made an appointment for a Brazilian laser here and it was the worst experience. It was a one person show and the practitioner had me wait 20 minutes denuded before coming to treat me. There was no other client there but a man was there who was not a client and she was chatting with him. Not professional. The machine she used was very painful and during the treatment she told me she doesn't do Brazilians and this was not a machine for Brazilians. I wish I had told her to stop right then and walked out. It was so uncomfortable and painful. Why would you offer the service if you don't have the proper equipment? I have thought about reporting this, but not sure who to report this to. It was quite torturous. Since then, I have had a few treatments at Sev Laser and they are light years more professional and experienced. The nurses spend about ten minutes or less with me and the rooms are clean, the pain is negligible if any at all -- I am upset with what I was put through here when it could've be painless and fast. I strongly encourage you to try another place.

I first reached out to Dr Ngo in the summer of 2022 to ask about keloid and laser treatment for pretty severe acne scarring, and through a virtual consultation she recommended that I go for microneedling instead of laser treatment, just in case I get hyperpigmentation from lasering. Coming here turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made for my skin, as everyone has noticed and complimented me on the very visible difference in my skin post treatment(s)! She has also been able to flatten a majority of my most stubborn keloids as well, some that have been there for years! If you're still trying to decide where to go for your skin treatments, COME HERE FIRST!!! Take it from me, someone who foolishly spent a lot of $$$ elsewhere with almost no change before going here ($obbing)
