The experience with Michael is always great he is so helpful, polite and respectful. Amazing with children. I highly recommend him.

BEWARE! Dr. Nguyen does NOT care about your mental health! He is only focused on what he needs and completely disregards what his patients need.My mom has wanted her beautiful smile back from 40 years ago and has been undergoing multiple procedures to make that happen. Sadly, she is terrified of the dentist and suffers from panic attacks. To help her through her journey I have gone with her to every appointment. She has spent over $30,000 and up until this point every single dentist, hygienist, assistant and oral surgeon that has worked on her has been so understanding, patient, kind and considerate. This morning my mom was scheduled for an unexpected root canal with Dr. Nguyen. Unfortunately, he and his assistant, Letty, were not so understanding, patient, kind and considerate.Like clockwork as soon as my mom saw the dental chair the panic attack started coming on. Through her tears she sat in the chair and the assistant started to hook her up to the nitrous oxide machine. I stood by her side and reminded her to breathe. As a tear rolled down my mom's cheek the assistant asked me to leave. I backed up into the doorway and told the assistant that I will leave once she has calmed down. My mom then said she could not breathe out of the NO2 mask. I confirmed with the assistant that the gas was on, but my mom kept repeating that she could not breathe from the mask. After a few minutes Dr. Nguyen walked in, put on his exam gloves, turns to me, and said, "At this point I need to ask you to leave". I explained to him that my mom suffers from panic attacks and that I would not leave until she has calmed down. My mom was still tearing up, not able to breathe from the NO2 mask and repeating that the mask was not working. Dr. Nguyen did not seem to care as he continued prepping for the procedure. The assistant then told me I needed to go wait in the lobby because they had to close the door in order for the gas to work. Having been through this before with understanding and empathic dentists I knew that was a bold face lie. There was no way I was leaving my mom when she was in the middle of a panic attack and the NO2 was not working. FINALLY, Dr. Nguyen looked up from what he was doing, reached over and turned the NO2 machine on. Not 45 seconds later my mom was calm and said she was ok. I turned immediately and walked to the lobby. About 3 minutes later the office manager came out and explained that Dr. Nguyen had cancelled the root canal. That Dr. Nguyen did not like what happened and now refuses my mom as a patient.I feel so sorry for the thousands of other patients who have been ignored by this endodontist's arrogance.

If it is possible for a root canal to be a pleasant experience- then this is the guy to see!!! He was amazing. Very comforting, very kind, explained the whole procedure. He was also quick and accommodating to my schedule so i can get back to work on time. Just an all around wonderful experience. I had no pain whatsoever during or afterwards. Thank you so much Dr Nguyen.

I went to Lake forest Dental Group to have a root canal with Dr. Nguyen. I was nervous at first but as soon as I met him I immediately felt comfortable. Dr. Nguyen is both funny, charming and professional. The procedure was quick, painless, and easy. I am so grateful and I appreciate the work he has done for me. The work he performed was perfect. He is an excellent Endodontist and I would recommend my friends and family for his services. Thank You

I was assigned to Dr Nguyen by San Clemente Dental Group for a root canal. I was scared at first, having never had root canal therapy before, and worried about spending a lot of money on potentially painful and maybe even redundant dental work. I also have pretty bad anxiety and am terrified of needles, so I was expecting a nasty experience.To my surprise (and extreme relief), I could not have been more wrong. Dr Nguyen was exceptionally friendly, alert and ready to work at my 8am appointment. Together with his 'Gal Friday,' the sweet and seemingly very prescient Jamie, they settled my nerves almost immediately. Dr Nguyen took care to numb me up beyond belief while employing a bedside manner that kept even me from passing out from the sight of needles. I even laughed several times during my appointment! They both chatted happily about this and that as they worked, making me feel at ease and being sure to check in with me every few minutes to make sure I was doing okay.Before I knew it, they were done! I could not believe that I had walked into the office at 8am, and was in my car already halfway home when my watch hit 8:45. I had heard an average root canal could take about an hour, but Dr Nguyen was done with the procedure in under 30 minutes.Fast service and friendly service are probably two of the most important things people look for in a person or company, especially if they are paying a great deal of money for the service. Dr Nguyen, Jamie, Luis, and the whole team at San Clemente Dental, who bring in Dr Nguyen as their independent contractor endodontist, deserve major kudos for their always friendly and as-fast-as-possible work.I can now say a day later that my tooth is feeling great and has recovered nicely from the work. Seek out this man at any of his offices in the SoCal area for all of your endodontic needs. I can say honestly that he now has my loyalty, and more importantly for the medical and dental fields, my trust.Thanks so much, Dr Nguyen!

Takes the fear out of root canals. Professional, friendly, and most important - painless. Would recommend him highly.

I came over from Catalina Island to see Dr. Nguyen for a root canal.I saw him at Smiles Long Beach Dentistry which he visits twice a month.It was my first root canal . I worried for nothing. The procedure was quick and painless.Dr. Nguyen is very upbeat ,he explains what he is doing before he does it. I highly recommend him, go ahead and make an appointment.!!!

My husband had a root canal today and he said Dr. Nguyen was the best dentist he has ever been to. He was compassionate and explained everything he was doing. He also was quick and professional. My husband has neck and throat issues and had no issues during the procedure, thanks to Dr. Nguyen. He will definitely be our dentist if we need an endodonist. My husband can't talk highly enough of him!

Dr Michael Nguyen is simply the best at Root Canals. My last experience as the Dentist was horrible. Dr Nguyen assured me he would take care of me and I would be comfortable. From beginning to end he was professional, skillful and gentle. I did not feel any pain. I could not believe he was done! Needless to say if I ever need to have another Root Canal procedure I will DEFINITELY have Dr Nguyen. He is amazing at his craft. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr Nguyen and team (Letti and George) are simply amazing! I've had at least three root canals in the past and each was painful during and after the procedure, and took two hours. With Dr Nguyen I was in the office only 30 minutes with the procedure lasting about 15 minutes! And no pain. This is a highly skilled and efficient team, and I highly recommend them.
