Imagine a new patient coming in for an appointment, then sitting there for 20 minutes while you ignore me. Oh wait, that’s exactly what happened. Very cute that it was personal calls too.
El Dr kockinis, es un profesional, siempre toma tiempo, para escuchar y es un médico con mucha experiencia y muy acertado, feliz de que sea mi medico primario.
I had a great intake appointment. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Kockinis himself was very personable and easy to talk to. I felt he gave me adequate space to explain my issues and asked relevant questions and gave appropriate referrals. I left feeling confident about the direction we are going in.
One of the best medical staff offices experiences I’ve ever had! Roxanne and Theresa from this doctor office have been impeccable in assisting me with my healthcare! ❤️ I had a traumatic experience in the hospital and post-follow up thur have been so helpful, efficient and they call you back when they say they will! I cannot say enough good things I am grateful that this group and doctor is my primary health care option especially since I do live in Huntington Beach!
Excellent no b/s doctor... Practice good medicine, nice person, and nice staff. He's been my doc for 10 years, I drive 35 mi to go there.
Refused to make an appointment for me to do an annual physical because I am not vaccinated. While I am someone who cannot get the vaccine due to prior adverse reactions to a vaccine. They persisted to tell me that due to their imunocompromised patients they will not see unvaccinated. Theresa then decided to try to correct me and tell me that the word biases is not word, which is but it seems as though she thinks I'm an idiot because I am not vaccinated. Not only were they completely unprofessional but are literally discriminating against treating those who cannot get vaccinated. If you would like a doctor who does not discriminate and is up to date on the science I would highly recommend going somewhere else.
Best family doctor ever. He goes point by point and addresses every single concern and never makes you feel like you're being dramatic. Good at seeing the whole picture - so family medicine is perfect for him. I know I've said this before, but he was the only five-star doctor in a sea of one-star rated primary physicians in the Medi-Cal booklet. He employed an RN as a medical assistant so Brandi knows the referral and health insurance system very well. Teresa, the front desk lady, is very thorough and friendly too. Together, it's a well-oiled machine.
What visit. His staff wouldn't give me a physical exam at his office during Covid. Now 6 months later they still wont give me a physical exam because I am not vaccinated. I told the nurse I had Covid in March of last year and I have the natural antibodies. She said it doesn't matter. I said wow I am going to get another Doctor. She said do what you have to. I looked up the doctor and he is 69 years old. I am 66. I called my insurance and got a new doctor who will see me right away! What has this medical world come to?
I love my Dr. K so much -depression isn't so scary when he & staff are on board. If it wasn't for Dr. K & staff I would have committed subside by now. Please go to Dr. K - he really cares about the fight against to depression.
Dr Kockinis is a great doctor. He really gets to know you as a person not just a patient. He's been my doctor for over 3 years now, and I wouldn't think about going to anyone else.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
