Yang Charles's Online Review Report Card

After my gynaecologist retirement I was referred to Charles Yang for prolapsed uterus. He said a surgery is in order for partial removal of the uterus and the proper placement of the bladder. Not even a prop was used to explain what he was going to do. This is a normal routine and he apparently didn't think the patient should know. After my many questions he drew a sketch of not much help. This operation is done buy a gyneurologist and a gynaecologist. He sais he was able to perform the whole surgery ($$$) and it would last 2 1/2 h. I was operated for 5 hours. After coming home, I reported sharp pains and pullings on the incisions, and in the vag. canal. He made fun of me for being too weak and never paid any attention to my complains. Five weeks after the bladder fell . Now, I am living with pain, prolapsed bladder, incisional hernias, risk of bone infection,and complications due to a surgery that second opinion doctor said was NOT necessary and I need a reconstructive surgery

as nice a doctor has anyone could have. he even came to my hospital room, and visited me, when i had been admitted for a unknown emergency. he cares about his patients.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. They don't answer the phone, they are consistently an hour behind on appointments, they don't call people back. There are PLENTY of other options in the area. If you care about being able to actually talk to your doctor, avoid this place like a plague. If you like being treated like you don't matter, this is the place for you. They absolutely WILL NOT value your time. All they care about it getting a paycheck from your insurance company.

I have a close friend who is seeing Charles....The conversations are not good...Charles is combative and strong on his views as a diagnosis...I'm questioning is medical licence to practice medicine in the US. Most Medical Doctors will listen to their Patience....Unfortunately Charles doesn't. His prior patient Albert has Past with this so called doctor as a guide. Please be aware of these "third world physicians" claiming to hold a license to practice medicine in the United States as trust worthy. Argumentative doctors such as charle's is an insult.....SEE ANOTHER DOCTOR....PLEASE...!!

Ignore the negative comments !! This man is an excellent Dr ! I have been seeing Dr. Yang for almost 20 years! This man is a saint. He listens, recommends treatment and can give the most painless Flu shots and painless blood draws. His knowledge and experience is priceless. The office assistants have been with him for years and they are great. They always get you in when you are sick and need to be seen. I will be sad when this man retires. I seriously don't know where I will go. Located off Beach Blvd near Walgreen's in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Seriously I am so glad to have him as my medical provider. If you want true knowledge in a medical practice then this is your office. Ignore the negative reviews.. This man is a saint!

I've seen lots of doctors and for the most part I try not judge by the area but how the doctor treats the patient and if he pays attention to what is going on. My son has seen this doctor twice and twice he's failed what was needed. I didn't even read these reviews because I already know he's not a very good doctor. He seems to rush through and diagnosed quickly. All we needed was a simple referral, in his opinion non was needed. WRONG. A doctor has a lot of knowledge but a good doctor listens. Start listening doctor Yang, your ex-patients are now talking about you to others.

Dr. Charles Yang has been my doctor since I was five years old in 1989 when my parents first moved us down to Huntington Beach. He always finds time to see us and is a great listener. My family loves having a doctor they can trust and now my husband started seeing him just this year. He couldn't be happier to have a doctor that is able to fit him in to his crazy work schedule. If you are looking for a great family doctor he is it. Also Nancy and Cindy are amazing! They always make you feel welcome and truly care about their patients!

On initial arrival the place looked rundown and walking inside the waiting room all the chairs are super dirty and old the files cabinets were an absolute mess, dirty handprints around the light switches. But that's not the part that didn't work out the doctor saw me and told me he wasn't going to prescribe antibiotics because I didn't have a fever yet nobody took my temperature I left the practice and drove directly over to my old doctor took an appointment they took my temperature I had a fever they prescribed antibiotics. The doctor was very short answered and not personable in the least bit. Look at the photos!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!!

Omg,, terrible and ugly or thankless reviews..People many factors come in to play with doctors.. insurance, state insurance(freeloaders), ppo,hmo, referrals,etc you get what I'm saying..at the end of the day, "you are", your best doctor!! You make time to yelp, but complain about $$?!! I'll help you with a little common sense: help yourself by getting a second opinion..since when did your parents tell you, " put $50-$100 on a (your health)doctor visit and cross your fingers that the best comes out of it".. exactly, they never told you that!! Help yourself as a person seeking medical help..specialists and general doctors all take insurance and cash..DUH!! But, to complain about a doctor whos schooling far surpasses your 1-12 diploma, you may want to reconsider your words you type..Doctors are the best thing we got in this world..compare to a 3rd world country..anyhow,, he's been my family's doctor for over 20 years and yeah, he's misdiagnosed and I went back to him and said we need to check me again..that's pretty simple if you ask me.. I would recommend him..

He's been my doctor for nearly 20 years. He is very matter-of-fact. He doesn't pull any punches. And... he is a very gentle soul.
