Doriana Cosgrove's Online Review Report Card

Found Dr Cosgrove to be friendly, non judgmental and experienced. I was concerned after seeing some negative reviews but am glad I went anyway. I did not feel pressured in any way, and actually ended up getting less done than I thought I needed. She honestly assessed my face and advised how to get natural results. Dr Cosgrove has a great eye for aesthetics and it was refreshing how detailed her perspective is, while also considering the whole of the facial harmony. (Many drs treat area by area, causing artificial looking results). I will be going here for Botox/fillers from now on.Pricing seems about the same as other med spas in the area.

I have never written a yelp review prior. I feel compelled to do so as my experience with Dr. Cosgrove was devastating. I was impressed at first, with what appeared to be her dedication to improve my looks. She was warm and friendly. I listen to her suggestions, and spent close to 13k, on procedures that she suggested, to achieve a more youthful look. The outcome was as followed. My upper eyelids dropped so severely after her first procedure to raise my eyebrows, that my right eye looked half-closed, and actually obstructed my vision. Additionally, she performed facial threading which she stated would tighten my skin without having to have a facelift. She stated that it was a successful technique that she had studied in Turkey. The aftermath of that procedure is that my left side of my face droops now and my smile is distorted and only rises to a smile on my right side. So I can only smile on one side. After conferring with several renowned plastic surgeons it has been determined that the threading was administered incorrectly causing nerve damage that created the smile to be distorted. I was able to have an upper eye lift which corrected the eye problem. Unfortunately, all three plastic surgeons that I have consulted state that the nerve damage is nothing that they can correct. They suggest giving it at least six months to see if the nerve can regain to work or repair itself. I feel so embarrassed by the facial distortion that I am seeing a therapist to help overcome the anxiety. I requested of course a full refund for any procedures that she had performed, as I have already had to pay for upper eye surgery, and have no idea what to do if the nerve damages continue. After weeks of being nonresponsive, today she has stated that she would only refund a small portion of what I have paid. I am not only disappointed with her professionally but morally. I trusted her, she was so convincing. How could she cause such damage and take so little responsibility? An attorney has been contacted to review the situation. I am very saddened. I should have gone to a board-certified plastic surgeon, to begin with.

I came to Dr. Cosgrove on a friend of a friend's recommendation. Her office is modern and welcoming, and I did not have to wait for my appointment. Her staff is very efficient and professional. As a new patient, Dr. Cosgrove spent at least 20 minutes talking to me to see what my expectations were, and then explained her approach to medical aesthetics. She is a genuinely friendly and down-to-earth person, with a warm smile and a real interest in hearing what her patients want. I never felt rushed, experienced zero upselling, and proceeded to get the best Botox of my life from Dr. Cosgrove. Compared to other Botox I have gotten in the past two decades, she is an absolute Botox genius! I would actually trust her to do any sort of procedure, as she is obviously a perfectionist. Cannot recommend high enough!

When ever I come out to Palm Desert I must make an appointment with Dr Cosgrove.. She and her staff are so kind and professional . I am from the east coast and have never had a Dr. be so patient and take their time to make sure you get exactly what you need . She is a perfectionist and I truly value her skill and expertise.Absolutely love her.

Dr. Cosgrove has always been honest with me. She and her staff are very professional and down to earth. When o wanted my lips bigger she told me no which looking back I totally respect because they are good the way they are! She is a true artist. I got many services from this office and I haven't been dissatisfied once. Always feel great walking out of there!

Don't waste your money! She over charge for services that are pure gimmicks. She can stare at you right in the face and try to convince you that the work she did made a huge change on you. And when you look in the mirror you don't see any changes at all. And, her favorite trick is to do this out in the reception area with her iPad. Hoping other potential victims are watching. So obvious. And embarrassing. I've never seen any doctor get anything like that before

I have been going to Dr. Cosgrove for about 3 years. I have had different injectables done including Kybella and the Juvederm products. I think she is very talented and I love the way she makes me look more youthful without looking like I have had something done. I personally don't care for Botox and how it immobilized part of my face when I smiled (but I know a lot of people like it... to each his own). I highly recommend her. It's so lovely to get a "lift" without any invasive procedures.

I went to Dr. Cosgrove for my birthday present.I trusted her to make me look younger. After paying $5,000.00 I left with a droopy lip and looked much worse than when I went in. Every person I saw that knew me commented "what happened to you?". I returned and got more stuff put in my face and it did not look good. I returned again and she said she would ask her associates what she should do. I returned again and was told she had an emergency and she would reschedule. She never called and I called to make an appointment but she said she was busy and would call back and never did.DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!!

Dr. Doriana is such a wonderful woman. She cares what your wants/needs are as a patient. She is very thorough in explaining any procedure, how to prepare for them, and what to expect for after care. She is very fair with the competitive prices for fillers and Botox, both of which I received. Her staff is very nice and the office environment is warm and welcoming. The medical esthetician, Courtney Grossman, is an absolute gem. I had never had a dermaplanning facial before, and now I can't wait to go back! My skin has never felt better. I highly recommend this office. You won't be disappointed!
