List of Jambur E. Chandrashekar's Reviews
His knowledge and level of experience as a Doctor is great!
Does not listen to patients. Bases his findings all on lab results and doesn’t listen or ask to your symptoms or concerns. He cuts you off when you are speaking. Overall bad experience.
great doctor
I was seeing this doctor for over 2 years regarding problems with my neck and throat. He sent me for the same tests over and over again. Finally, due to being in excruciating pain, I advocated for an MRI. During one appointment I asked if the blood test could detect if I had cancer. Dr. Jambur Chandrashekar got in my face and spoke to me like I was stupid he talked slowly and very close to my face. It was extremely unprofessional and demeaning. The test he sent me for consisted of blood work, TMJ doctor, two Ear Nose and Throat specialist. Every referral I obtained fell through the cracks, I continuously had to call them and find out what was going on with the referrals. Several times, I was told they forgot, or the referrals specialist no longer worked there. Through these two years the pain became progressively worse. I requested to get my tonsils out and obtain an MRI. He became angry, and stated, “Can I make a suggestion? Find somebody else.” I was shocked and asked if he was SERIOUSLY ABADONING his patient. Later, after going to the hospital several times, I obtained an MRI. I found out I have a bulging disc in my C5,6,7,8 which is why my left arm was going numb. I am making progress with Desert Oasis Medical Group, but still haven’t had the best luck finding a doctor. I am still advocing for myself and to find answers as to why I have had a sore throat for almost 3 years now. Do yourself a favor and never go see this doctor.
Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Receptionist have horrible customer service and rude ! Don’t try to help at all !!!
Wouldn't recommend it
Worst experience I’ve ever had with medical care. The doctor is extremely rude and condescending in the way he talks to you. He talks over you when you are explaining your pain. For two years I’ve been struggling with a health condition in which he kept sending me for different test, but never an MRI or CT scan. I’ve also been to the hospital several times in pain due to this. Again, he tried sending me to get the same test done after two years. Today when I spoke to him and told him I am certain I need my tonsils out. He told me “you want a suggestion, go somewhere else.” I asked him if he was abandoning my care for advocating for myself and he said the same statement again “you want a suggestion, go somewhere else.” Prior to this visit two months ago during a visit he wanted to send me for blood work again. I asked him “does blood work show if someone has cancer?” He got really close to my face and started talking to me like I was stupid! He is the worst doctor I’ve ever had.
The best doctor you could ever have.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
