The office left me a text and said the Dr was off on my scheduled appointment date and I needed to reschedule. I called in on November 1, 2022 and they advised they could not get me in until January of 2023. I advised that I needed to have my appointment in 2022 as I have a high deductible PPO and I've used up my deductible. I always go annually at the end of the year. I find it very frustrating when 2 months out they can not get me in. Also, it was there office that cancelled my appointment I made a year ago. Also, when calling in for labs or prescriptions the wait time is always very long and often times I just give up. I've lined up another Dr. where the office is not overloaded.

He's a good doctor very smart. He's so popular and sometimes it's hard to get to talk with him. The staff is helpful. I may have change doctors as his office is not taking Aetna. Sad.

Poor planning for a biopsy of the prostate. No prep instructions given prior to the appointment. Waited 2 months for the appointment, then neglected to give prep instructions. Very aggravating to an already stressful event. Need a better staff.

Went to Dr. Spitz to have a kidney stone removed. i was very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend Dr. Spitz.

Don’t be swayed by the negative reviews here and other places, which was the mistake I made. I could have saved money, agony and time if i took my young son straight to him after seeing 3 other urologists. He was incredibly kind, compassionate, thorough and patient with our questions. He gave us other treatment plans that the other urologists didn’t. It was such a relief. Jenny, who helped set this appointment for me was amazing and extremely helpful. She went above and beyond. Jessica and Elisa (sp?) from their temporary office in Irvine were so helpful and friendly. The nurse that walked us in. Unfortunately I didn’t fit his name was just as professional and helpful. I’m so grateful and more hopeful than we were before.

A 5-star doctor, Cornell and Baylor doctor. The best urologist in Orange County for vasectomy and vasectomy reversals. Other urologists can't compete with him.

Very busy practice. He is a good dr with sense of humor and gental style.

I was actually jumping online to get Dr. Spitz' phone number and happened to see this very false low review, so I had to leave a positive review on here. I spent months doing research for my surgery and Dr. Spitz was not only the highest rated but the most experiences around. He is very kind and easy to talk to, explains everything he is doing, and is an absolute pro. I would highly recommend him. Yes - the front office staff are busy and sometimes rude, but this doctor is top notch.
