Minimum 40 minute wait time for every office visit (5)...most recently Jan 2022, one hour wait in the room! And no apology for the wait. Not much caring or respect. And the new office at 330 Old Newport Rd in NB is a big grey sterile institution...couldn't wait to get out of there.

My opinion this guy should NOT be a doctor let alone a cancer doctor. No human understanding of how such a suggested diagnosis affects ones life. never got a straight answer...no discussing any other options than to go straight to doing a bone marrow...I learned more from the internet....GO FIND A DIFFERENT ONCOLOGIST...I DID. Turs out my health issue - not a big deal!!!

Asked him to identify my CLL stage, and could never get him to do that or give me a concrete prognosis. Wanted to put me on powerful drugs without discussion of alternatives. This guy is humorless. Got second opinion, and stopped seeing him.

I came under Dr. An Nguyen's care about 7-8 years ago, so I feel he deserves a 5 star rating just for the fact that I can write this review today. At first I had my doubts, we did go trough some rough patches but he was always attentive, considering a wide range of options and as it turns out, always making the right decisions. For that, I trust him with my life ever since. Literally.
