List of Bruce Cleeremans, Md's Reviews
LOUSY and CARELESS customer service at the front office.
I brought a family member to Dr Cleereman's office a few weeks ago. Prior to coming in, I called to confirm appointment. Nobody answered the phone. I left a message and did not get a call back. We came in on the day of the appointment and the front desk girl was very rude and unprofessional. She yelled at patients and does not seem to take responsibility for her mistakes. Not only that, she was dressed in an unprofessional manner. All the other ffront desk people seemed to be dressed in a uniform except her. And on top of that, the girl that was with her was being yelled at by this rude unprofessional person. I think the rude unprofessional girl's name was Paula. She needs to be fired not only for the way she treats patients but also her coworkers. I have never seen such a unprofessional person like her in my life. If she had talked that way to me, I would have taught her a valuable lesson, she would never and I mean ever forget. please look into this. If this is how you run your office, I will never come back and I will be sure to let others know as well. Let's see how your business is then.
The doctor was very attentive and showed genuine interest in my neurological problems, but his front office receptionist needs a MAJOR attitude adjustment. She was the MOST rudest person I've ever met. She was abrupt and not a compassionate drop in her. If it wasn't for the kindest of the doctor, i would never return again.
I went to a previous neurologist who didn’t care about me or to believe or treat me and said I should go see a psychiatrist. I’m so glad I listened to my husband and went to get a 2nd opinion. I went and saw Dr. Cleeremans and he wanted to help me and suggested that I may have intracranial hypertension. Unfortunately the only way to test for it is when I had a one of those terrible migraines come on, I rush to the ER and they do a lumbar puncture to get an opening pressure and take out fluid to relive the pain/pressure. And sure enough, shortly after that appointment I got a migraine and had the lumbar puncture and it was extremely high confirming Dr. Cleeremans diagnosis of Intracranial Hypertension. If it wasn’t for him and I listened to the 1st neurologist, I would be in so much pain and could lose my vision, slip into a coma or die. It is a very complex and serious condition. I am so appreciative of Dr. Cleeremans and his staff. It’s not just the diagnosis but he has gone above and beyond and truly cares about his patients, always calls back, listens to you and if you have any thoughts and suggestions. He even wanted to visit me in the hospital when I was admitted. If you want a smart, caring, kind, Doctor, see Dr. Cleeremans.
The front office was extreamly rude, blamed me for waisting their time, when they did not do proper insurance verification. When they ask for my ins ID and then booked the appointment. Then blamed me for their error for booking the appointment. This front office staff is truly doing this doctor a disservice and will not recommend anyone to this office as they should know their job and what questions to ask, and not blame patients for their mistakes.I'm a patient not an insurance specialist...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
