I’ve always had a good experience at the Center For New Medicine. Brandi, is very knowledgeable and very kind, easy to talk with, considerate and very helpful. I’ve been her patient for over twenty years. I highly recommend the Center For New Medicine.

I want to respond to the message from the business manager, Leigh Erin C. Just FYI, we now live in a world where you can input your test results into tools like ChatGPT and receive clear, thorough explanations that many physicians don't even take the time to provide, especially for complex tests like the RGCC panel. So the idea that I need to pay for a separate visit just to understand my own lab results is outdated at best. And even if I did want your explanation, a simple blood draw plus one appointment does not justify a $10,000 charge under any circumstances. As I stated earlier, this level of billing is unacceptable. You should be ashamed that this is how your office treats patients.

I am writing to share my recent disappointing experience at the Cancer Center For Healing in Irvine. My wife was referred to your facility for HBOT therapy following a suggestion made during her doctor's appointment in Newport Beach. The manager at the doctor's office called and scheduled an appointment for her, after which we drove to your location in Irvine. Upon arrival, we were met with extremely poor customer service. The young staff member in the first office on the left was rude to both my wife and me. When we explained we had an appointment, she immediately stated her schedule was full and did not attempt to verify our booking. She then told us, "even if there was an opening we need it to fill a lot of paperwork." This interaction was completely unprofessional, especially considering we were prepared to pay out-of-pocket for your services. We immediately contacted the referring doctor's office from your lobby, and they were shocked and very apologetic on your behalf. Based on this experience, and after reviewing several concerning Google reviews, we have concluded that this is not the right environment for my wife's treatment. I would strongly advise against using this facility until your front office staff improves its professionalism and customer service standards.

A loved one is a current patient and I would never advise a cancer patient to come here for treatment. The administration is messy at best, its a piecemeal, rushed approach, u are not clued in as to what is the big plan, Dr Connealy while sound and a great voice for holistic care, is not represented well, or perhaps we have been deceived in the application of her approach. The system is archaic, and whilst the intention was great, the execution is dire and much to be desired. The deposit is high, but that is no matter when you feel you get value from experience. Take ur money elsewhere. They rarely return calls, they are only most interested and receptive only at deposit stage. After that, good luck. We have been patients for 2 years so i have been waiting to write this review, giving them many opportunities to prove me wrong after our first visit. U have been warned.

I’ve been a patient here for 2 years and am in remission from breast cancer thanks to everything I’ve learned and done here. Dr C is incredibly thorough and knowledgeable. I would have been so lost without her guidance.

My hopes were really high, but at times hope and the reality of managing a large center end up crashing. Dr. Connealy is extremely knowledgeable and caring and as such she herself and the staff of nurses deserve a 5 star review. Unfortunately, the whole approach of using a number of different contracted practitioners results in what I call "the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing". Overworked and understaffed? Not my problem! Train your practitioners better and demand nothing but excellence! This is my expectation as a patient with cancer. In my specific case: 1) Many tests were re-done or duplicated upon my arrival even though prior to my first week I had submitted test results that were only 2 months old. Their policy clearly states they will accept test that are less than 6 months old. These tests furthermore were genetic analyses which do not change overnight or ever (for instance MTHFR evaluation). 2) There is no comprehensive and cohesive plan, but only a series of tests done by different practitioners often with questionable non scientific techniques, often resulting in conflicting results. For instance, I was first told to take certain supplements only to be told not to based on certain results, but then told again they are needed. There is no coherent plan or continuity of results between testing like live blood cell, f-scan, M.E.A.D. and Bio Immune testing. I would especially expect a certain degree of coherence between energetic tests such as M.E.A.D. and Bio Immune but no, completely different and baffling results. And, if indeed we are claiming that the BIO IMMUNE survey yields more precise results, then prescribe that and don't do the others. 3) In my case, the interpretation of results was not discussed with me during the appointment as most practitioners seem to be rushed and in a hurry to get to their next client. 4) I am completely on board with getting to the root cause of diseases. However, doing a piecemeal job with a ton of testing done by different practitioners with no medical training and not much experience and without proper interpretation and understanding is not what I was signing up for. It is the difference between information and wisdom. 5) Test results should never be posted in the portal without a patient talking to her doctor beforehand. Cancer can leave us very vulnerable and nervous around test results. Again, this is where wisdom and compassion should prevail. 6) I thought the center was supporting a metabolic approach as far as nutrition is concerned. For me, coming from years of possible insulin resistance, this means a ketogenic diet. Imagine my surprise when the nutritionist at the center suggested "a softer approach" including lentils and more carbs. Wow, anybody read the latest research? 7) I will continue to use the knowledge and expertise of Dr. Connealy for RGCC testing, QT and other relevant imaging. 8) I want to make sure people read this which is I think Dr. Connealy herself is competent and caring and so are the nurses which work very hard. Healing form cancer is a complex (not complicated) individual juggling act, requiring depth of knowledge and the ability to elegantly condense information into wisdom and practical useful advice. I strongly suggest an internal audit to truly figure out what is needed and what is not. Often less is more.

I recently contacted this center and left a voicemail requesting a return call. Two days later, instead of receiving a call back, I was sent a text message containing a link to three videos, which I was instructed to watch prior to any further communication. All I needed was to submit my blood sample for a specialized test, that unfortunately can only be administered by physicians affiliated with the test's parent company. I proceeded to watch the videos, though two were more than enough. The first featured Dr. Connealy, the clinic's founder. From the outset, something felt off. Her delivery lacked authenticity and warmth--it came across more like a performance, rehearsed and insincere, reminiscent of a poorly acted television commercial for a ambulance chasing lawyer. It immediately raised red flags about the integrity of the practice and did not inspire confidence. However, it was the second video that truly stunned me: to even become a patient at this clinic, YOU ARE RECUIRED TO PAY a $10,000 deposit!!!!! As if they weren't offering care--they were selling access, and only to those who could afford to pay upfront. I have never encountered a medical institution that demands such a substantial upfront fee simply for access to care. It echoes the retainer model used by attorneys, and suggests a troubling shift in medical ethics--from patient-centered care to profit-driven operations. This isn't just disheartening--it's predatory. They appear to be targeting vulnerable individuals, leveraging their desperation to extract exorbitant fees, all while their bank accounts swell. Is this what medicine has become? A business model that mirrors lawyers taking retainers--only this time, it's doctors, capitalizing on people's pain and fear? It's heartbreaking. There are people fighting for their lives, willing to do anything for a chance at hope--and instead, they're being drained emotionally and financially. The Hippocratic Oath, long a cornerstone of medical ethics, emphasizes the duty of physicians to act in the best interest of their patients. That principle seems increasingly neglected. It is deeply disappointing to witness such a departure from the values that should define the medical profession. One would hope that those who have committed their lives to healing would uphold higher standards. This experience left me disillusioned and angry. Healthcare should never be a luxury reserved for the wealthy. It should be grounded in compassion, ethics, and the sincere desire to help people--not in profits and paywalls. They should be ashamed.

I dropped off my records to this place and chased their scheduler (Laurie) for 2 weeks. Finally she calls me back while I'm tied up and leaves a voicemail saying the Dr has reviewed my records and they will not be taking me on as a patient. So I left a voicemail asking why and I assume I won't hear back. I'm really confused about this. I was seeking alternative therapies in addition to the conventional treatments I am doing. I assume they take on other stage 4 cases and my er/pr+ HER2- metastatic breast cancer is very common and I've heard my case in particular is pretty text book. So why wouldn't a "cancer center" take on the worst of cases? If we have no hope here, then where do we find it? It makes me wonder...is it because I am a terminal case and they only take on the easy paychecks of stage 1 and stage 2 cases? Some cancer center. I'M OFFENDED AND WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. I am not a lost cause and I refuse to let them label me as such.

Just spent two weeks with Dr Connealy and her team! Excellent care addressing issues that might be under lying my cancer diagnosis! Every doctor, nurse, specialist and technician were so compassionate. There was a family atmosphere between staff and patients many who are there for lengthy periods. I would highly recommend Dr Connealy for anyone suffering with cancer early or late stages. The area of Irvine is lovely with lots to do and fabulous beaches as well as restaurants!
