There was no visit-this is about the staff

I have been very dissatified with Dr. Salems care for my dad. He was admitted in Fountain Valley for a stroke and throughout the whole hospital stay Ive visited my dad everyday yet have not seen or heard from him once even though Ive requested many times for a phone call for updates on my dad. My dad is currently at a SNF and been febrile with high white count in his blood work concerning for a urosepsis. Requests have been made for antibiotics and Foley catheter change and its been over 24 hours and despite multiple pages from the nursing staff orders have not been placed and my dad is still having fevers even now. If you care about the health of your love ones please avoid this physician in the hospital or nursing facility. It will be hard to reach him or get orders completed to facilitate care. We are currently in the process of trying to change physician in hopes of getting better care for my dad. I hope the next doctor will be more attentive and responsive.

Dr. Salem is not a doctor you want to help you. He is not responsive does not answer calls and did not see my mother who was in Fountain Valley hospital but his PA saw her. He was to do a discharge order on Friday and did not and would not respond to numerous requests. All he needed to do was sign a discharge order so she was in nursing home for 4 more days than she needed to be. Nurses said he did not answer especially on weekends. What about ON CALL does he not understand.

Horrible doctor, never visited you, never check you , never explain how he is going to treat you.i would give him zero star if I could.

Just a horrible Dr. I had him as a patient at fountain valley hospitol. I had a bad infection in my foot. It took him 48 hours to put me on antibiotics or pain meds. In fact another doctor put me on antibiotics when he saw my condition while checking the man in the bed next to me. I ended up with a partial amputation. When I voiced my concerns he threatened to have me escorted out of the hospital and told me I should just have the whole limb removed as I would just be back again due to diabetes. Well haha Dr witchcraft three years later and Im doing great. Stay away from this guy....Hes bad news.

This guy was a no-show for an entire week while my daughter was supposed to be under his care at the hospital.

I first called to make an appointment for my father, I gave all the information to the gal that answered. Before making the appointment I asked if they take my fathers insurance and was told yes they do, so I continued to make the appointment. The day before my appointment I get a call @5pm stating that Dr. Salem doesn't take my dads insurance, when I returned the call back the office is closed.

The worst dr I have ever TRIED to deal with. Extremely unprofessional. Never returned calls, does not communicate with the other doctors or nurses with regards to patient treatment....

DR. SALEM WAS THE ATTENDING PHYSICIAN AT BUENA VISTA CARE CENTER WHERE MY MOTHER IN LAW STAYED FOR 10 DAYS. SHE STATED THAT HE BARELY SPENT 5 MINUTES WITH HER AND THAT WAS THE EXTENT OF CONTACT. I TRIED TO CONTACT HIM A TOTAL OF 7 TIMES WITH ABSOLUTELY NO ANSWER WHAT SO EVER. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DR.
