They have treated my cousin with such disrespect that I would not recommend the City of Hope to anyone!

From the moment we arrived at City of Hope, we felt something different — something rare. Chris has never once been treated as a diagnosis or a case number here. Instead, every doctor, nurse, and staff member has treated him as a person with a life worth living, a future worth fighting for, and a story that still matters. Dr. Kasi has been nothing short of extraordinary. His compassion, clarity, and commitment to Chris’s care have given us a sense of direction and hope during one of the hardest chapters of our lives. He listens, he explains, and he fights for his patients as if they were his family. Dr. Candace Jackson has shown the same level of skill and heart — thoughtful, thorough, and always willing to take the extra step to make sure we feel supported and informed. Her attention to detail and genuine concern have meant more than she knows. Dr. Salsamendi has also been an incredible part of Chris’s care team, providing guidance with expertise and empathy. His willingness to look at the whole picture and his steady, reassuring presence have made all the difference. And the City of Hope nurses and staff — every single one — have been remarkable. Kind, patient, and endlessly supportive. They’re the ones who greet us with warmth, who comfort us on the hard days, who answer the small questions that feel big, and who make the hospital feel like a place of safety instead of fear. Chris has said many times that City of Hope makes him feel like a person, not a patient. He feels seen — not for his illness, but for his humanity. That alone is a gift beyond words. We are deeply grateful for this team and for the care, dignity, and hope they’ve given us. City of Hope has truly lived up to its name.

I took my wife to City of Hope in Irvine for her appointment and infusion and what a beautiful facility. The staff and quality of care are stellar. Joyce was the RN who assisted my wife with her infusion and was so professional, caring and knowledgeable. The experience was perfectly orchestrated and my wife was pleased overall. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing and wonderful people!! The doctors are fantastic and you feel heard and understood. The lab staff makes you feel so comfortable. The café staff is so sweet! They made sure that what I was getting was safe for me to have with celiac disease and always go above and beyond!! Wanted to give a special thanks to the concierge staff Madison Bresette, Nick Kirkwood, and Kelsey Albin for always making our visits start with an upbeat vibe! I can't praise this place enough!! Thank you everyone!!

Most of the providers& oncologist with the exception of Dr.Nishan Tchekmedian, is very rude, never answer your questions, and never explain to patient what is the treatment plan, simply said lets wait 6 more months to repeat MRI, PET Scan, to decide the next steps!!!, in my case Iam a cancer patient who lost more than 40 pounds in less than a month, lost her hair( no chemotherapy for me yet), severe vomiting, diarrhea & hot flashes, still no one start any treatment for almost a year!! Never go there, the majority of the doctors doesn't know how to make a treatment plan for a cancer patient!! Plus one of them called Dr.Mustafa Raoof, a surgical oncologist, who hang up with me during our conversations about performing a simple Laproscopy, to take some biopsy to explore my mesenteric( peritoneal membrane) to take some biopsy, in which he is not capable of perform it by himself!!! I am very disappointed from him& all other provides who can not make a treatment plan for a cancer patient, lost 40 pounds in 4 weeks.

I took long time to call and long time waiting to see doctor

I am so grateful for my decision to switch to City of Hope. From the time I arrived on the Irvine (Lennar) campus it was easy, friendly and gracious. Parking is easy. The support staff is always friendly and helpful. Patient Representatives are available to solve problems. I haven't liked every doctor I met there equally, but 90% of them are the kindest and most knowkedgeable experts I have ever encountered anywhere. When I was making my way through a challenging cancer situation it helped that everyone there was kind. I needed my questions answered, my treatment to be effective and I needed to feel cared for. I received what I needed at City of Hope.

I hope they give more time for the people that are sick and have cancer this place is overbuilt it I think they could have used most of that money helping people. Who really need to to get well
