After a year of hand pain, I sought help. Dr. Gittings was a blessing. He's caring, knowledgeable and knew exactly what was wrong with my hand. He gave me options and I choose surgery. He did a great job and I am very grateful, because it was successful. I would definitely recommend him.

I appreciate Dr. Gittings, he is a very carrying Doctor. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He really takes the time with you and makes you feel very comfortable, not to mention he completed my surgery with amazing results.

Terrific hand specialist and a truly caring person. First saw him three weeks ago at Hoag Irvine for a cat bite that had abcessed and developed cellulitis. Appointment was at 9 am, he took a look and told me to come back at 3:30 that afternoon because I needed surgery to clean out the abscess. He was very patient with me and took time to answer all my many questions. Clearly explained all the aftercare I needed. Follow up appointment was this afternoon and he said the wound had completely healed and I was good to go. If you ever need a hand specialist I would absolutely recommend him!

Beyond the pain and shock of a sudden injury lies the bleakness of realizing you have no idea who to go to once you leave the ER, the ‘good’ orthopedic surgeons probably have no openings for ‘forever’, yet you need someone who knows what they’re doing, pronto. Call this doctor without a backward glance. Dr. Gittings is accessible, he’s highly skilled, he speaks of your recovery in detail (rare in my experience with surgeons), and he has the bedside manner you really long for when you are scared, in pain, and about to go undergo a major surgery. I smashed my wrist and thank goodness I didn’t just patch it up and seek out any orthopedic doctor, as I was advised by the ER doctor. The specialty with hand/wrist makes a huge difference in this delicate area. Dr. Gittings’ passion for his specialty and concern for you as a person in his care comes shining through. You’ll thank me with a 2-hands clasped shake later.

Dr Gittings fixed my leg and he's such a wonderful doctor. He is warm and caring. He is willing to do all he can to help his patients. To me, he's like my family. I highly recommend him.

Dr Gittings is an excellent Dr. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. He’s everything you’d expect in a Doctor and more. Not only is he an excellent Doctor but he’s an excellent human being. If someone you love gets to have Dr Gittings as their Orthopedic surgeon, be assured they are in excellent, blessed hands. We had the best experience imaginable with him repairing our moms femur. Very highly recommended Dr Gittings. The best ever.

Dr. Gittings is knowledgeable, and thorough. He communicates clearly outlining the patient's options. I found him to be very kind and caring as well as easy to talk with. He answered all my questions fully. I highly recommend him.
