Office experience was horrible.Took my husbands mom in .Yesi was our first point of contact that ignored us when we walked in .No hello just continued with her paperwork .Finally after she was done with her paperwork she said "can I help you ?" no smile .Not welcoming at all and should NOT be anyone's first point of contact .Maybe hire someone who likes there job .

Don’t select him for your care! For the last 9 months my mom has had tests, colonoscopy, no answers kept telling her to take Immdium, she was getting worse by the day! From 130 lb to 108, always using the getting up there in age, didn’t finally told her something about her Pancreas, but I am her daughter caregiver begged for him to call and explain and what is future plans for her care, NEVER called me even with a Advance Directive, even getting her a new GI doctor was not able to get history for months finally had to pick up for new GI, with NO NOTES DATES! Not on My Chart or have a Portal, WHY DID IT TAKE 9 months to get answers, even after procedure Never came in to check on her or a follow up call, still getting worse went 130lbs to 108lbs, received not one phone call, the new GI said this could have been resolved with a few tests and at least communicate left so many messages don’t answer phones very often, surgery center is off Sand Canyon unlike most doctors use NB surgery center he is half in half outWORST

Dr Kaufman seems okay, not great, but okay. That is of course if you can ever reach anyone to make an appointment. No one ever answers the phone, and when you leave a message, the voice mail says you will be called back by end of day. Ha! What a joke. I called 3 days in a row, no one answers, so i left a message each day. NO CALL BACK. I will not waste my time anymore. There are plenty of others, and perhaps they have people that answer the phone....

Excellent Dr and staff Went in for my colonoscopy recently. My previous doctor retired, and my wife had nothing but praise for Dr Kaufman. Dr was friendly, helpful and professional as was his office staff! The staff at the surgery center was exceptional also. Prep was the easiest I have ever done. Was in and out without issues and Dr was very personable. He will be our Gastroenterologist till he retires.

The folks rating him ones or twos must have been having bad days. Dr Kaufman and his staff were superb! Friendly, helpful, professional. I had no problems with the pre-op consultation in his office. His purging routine was much more pleasant than the previous preps. The surgery center was clean, my staff members were very professional and the procedure went smoothly. My wife and I like Dr. Kaufman and the staff. We rate them a FIVE.

Dr. Kaufman is a great doctor. I have had 3 colonoscopy procedures over the years with him. He is a very personable and caring Doctor. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for his services.

I would never recommend going to this office. The office staff is awful, rude, unprofessional, and unsympathetic to their patients. The office staff never answers their phones, and if they ever do by some miracle they put you on hold forever and then hang up on you so you end up having to start the whole process by calling them all over again. Once you get them on the phone which is pure luck if they answer the phone the staff have a very rude demeanor. When you ask them a simple question they tell you they will call you back with the answer, but seldom do; if they do, it is about a week to hear back from them. The most shocking part is how undereducated the staff is on simple questions about their office or knowledge of a medical procedure. You can find out more just by asking your question online by doing an online search. The doctor is also very arrogant. I find it odd he does not have a website or a better way of contacting their office. After this experience with their office, I canceled my procedure with them and asked them for an email confirming it was canceled. So happy I did because a few days later the surgery center called to confirm my appointment that I had already canceled with their office several days in advance and they never bothered to inform the surgery center I canceled my appointment beforehand. I am not surprised based on how horrible their office is run. I highly recommend going to another office where you will be treated with respect and your time and money will be valued.

I had a Colonoscopy procedure today, I went to the wrong location and front desk called and very nicely told me where to go and rushed everything so I can get in on time. They are busy but very organized. I had a great experience, Dr. Kaufman came highly recommended by my Physician and I can see why. From front desk to the nurse that prepped me, she did the IV very easily, I always have a very hard time to even give blood. Surgery nurse Jessica was super nice, procedure was done and the nurse that dismissed me was very professional and went over everything . Doctor Kaufman came and saw me at recovery and I was done. Highly recommend this office. I had to reschedule my appointment three times, they are professional and get the work done but don't have time to be your best friend. I rather for them to be focused and get the job done with no mistake instead of being super friendly. My husband also goes to Dr. Kaufman and few years ago when he had an emergency Dr. Kaufman called me and told to rush him to emergency room and that saved my husband's life.
