What an amazing staff and Dr. Gazzaniga had amazing bedside manner, explained everything to me about my ACL surgery and my recovery has been short I am 2 weeks post op and already able to walk without brace and crutches with very minimal bruising. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Gazzaniga.

One of the best knee surgeons and orthopedic doctors in So-Cal. Had ACL surgery with doctor G. informative,straight shooter down to earth knows his stuff, takes time to answer all questions wouldn't go with anyone else.Only major complaint is how far behind they run on appointment times always at least an hour behind especially at Irvine hoag location 😳 your better off scheduling for New Port location. Minus 1 star for staff and surgery center in Newport 3rd knee surgery there and Most of staff nurses don't care and are insensitive and not attentive as in I don't expect them to wait on me hand and foot but if I have to use the restroom at least come and unhook my IV bag so I can drag it with me. Front desk unorganized and staff were unable to answer simple questions it's one of those situations you ask yourself how do these people not get hit by a bus while crossing the street bad. And the signs everywhere asking you to post a review (don't mind if I do) who's genious idea was this? 😆 but must say if you can get past the negatives, results for me have been amazing.

I was treated extremely well by Newport Orthopedic Institute and Dr. David Gazzaniga before and after my surgery. I am very pleased with the results of my shoulder surgery.

Fabulous care from an informative an highly trained physician

I had an ACL arthroscopic ACL reconstruction there with Dr. Gazzaniga. I couldn’t believe how everything went so smoothly, the surgery was done as planned, they gave me all the instruction I need to know after surgery and there was a 24 hours portal which enabled me to message them and they responded within an hour. I hope wont get any orthopedic issue in the future, but if I need an orthopedic doctor, I will definitely back to Dr. Gazzaniga office

Dr. Gazzaniga is the best! From start to finish I felt in good hands. His cool, calm demeanor makes you worry free about your procedure. Post-op was easy with minimal pain and the tiniest incision. I would recommend him 100%!

I received excellent care and treatment from Dr. Gazzaniga and all those in his office and his surgical support team. I had a complex tear in my medial meniscus which was successfully cleaned up. Dr. Gazzaniga knows what he's doing. He is very straight-forward and efficient. He answers all your question, is direct and no-nonsense. He provides the patient with the necessary information to make their own informed decision. Be aware that Dr. Gazzaniga is a man of few words. He's 100% focused on the purpose at hand: the injury you came in to see him about. He is not trying to "be your friend". At first, I was a little put off by his direct, no-nonsense manner. Initially, he comes off as a little distant. Upon reflection, considering my experience from first encounter to being wheeled out of the operating room, I realized how appropriate his style can be. There are no distractions from dealing with your injury. No conversations about your favorite local restaurants or your recent vacation. You and he are together for one purpose and Dr. Gazzaniga does not let himself, or you, wander from that purpose. If you want a chatty doctor, one who will engage you on a personal level and ask about your family, you might not care for Dr. Gazzaniga. If you value a doctor who excels at what he does and does it thoroughly and efficiently, you will be very happy with the quality of care and treatment you receive from Dr. Gazzaniga.
