Excellent experience overall. The clinic is equipped with modern tech and everything feels efficient. Loren is a fantastic hygienist - knowledgeable, approachable, and thorough in explaining cleaning and periodontal maintenance. The office will also work with you to set up a discount plan if you don’t have dental insurance, which is a huge plus. Would definitely recommend!

I had a very disappointing experience with this dental office. First, I felt they were overly aggressive in recommending treatments. I was told I needed an inlay, which is a relatively expensive and invasive procedure. However, after seeking a second opinion, multiple other dentists confirmed that a simple filling would be sufficient. This made me question whether their recommendations were truly in my best interest. Second, the quality of the exam felt rushed and lacked transparency. In other dental offices I’ve visited, dentists took the time to walk me through each tooth, explain findings in detail, and review X-rays with me. Here, the explanation was minimal and felt more like a quick summary rather than a thorough evaluation. Additionally, I consistently experienced long wait times despite arriving on time for my appointments. Waiting 10–20 minutes seemed to be the norm, and on one occasion I waited nearly an hour. This level of delay is unacceptable, especially compared to other clinics where appointments are handled much more efficiently. Overall, I felt pressured toward more expensive treatments, received limited communication about my dental health, and experienced poor time management. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this office.

Dentists of Irvine is a state of the art office. It runs very efficiently even when busy. Dr. Scott is an excellent dentist. He’s very friendly, patient and gives great advice on tooth care. I highly recommend this dentist.

It's fine. Hygienists are good. I get the sense that the office may be trying to upsell certain treatments, but they're not pushy if you politely decline. I don't think anyone looks at your chart ahead of time, though. Last time I went in, I was pregnant, which I noted on my check in form about a week prior to my cleaning. No one contacted me, so I went in assuming everything was fine. I get there and get taken back to have X-rays done and went ahead and mentioned the pregnancy in case the X-ray tech wasn't aware. A few minutes later, and one of the dentists was telling me that they couldn't treat me without a note from my OB-GYN and they were cancelling my appointment. To be fair, they were polite about it, but this could have been avoided. I guess I don't understand why they have people fill out the check in form if they're not going to bother looking at it. I guess make sure to call the office ahead of time if you have something out of the ordinary going on.

Loren is an amazing hygienist and explains everything super well as she's going through the cleaning! I highly recommend her and have loved coming to Dentist of Irvine for a couple years now and am still loving it! Adam is a phenomenal dentist and he's amazing at explaining everything as well, highly recommend. Best dental spot in town!

I have had great experiences at this office with Dr. Scott. I appreciate the technology offered. The DA did an amazing job with my X-rays and cleaning. He has a warm demeanor and was very gentle yet thorough.
