Dr. Heba Ashraf was outstanding. She took the time to discuss the lab results in detail with my wife. Very pleasant. The office staff was very helpful.
Highly NOT RECOMMEND this practice at all!!! The staff is not friendly, and one of them, I think, is Mexican, who is pretty cocky, sassy and talks in such a condescending demeanor. The wait is unbelievably long, and the staffs tend to make lots of small talks to one another, and really show that they're being bothered whenever talking to patient, who they should've been patient and attentive to. However, I think the manager came out from the back and didn't even bother saying anything. To me, that right there is messed up. They def didn't do their job properly on merit when it comes to solving the patients' concerns. Not coming back here to receive my GI care again! Bad patient service from both staff and management! They didn't seem like they actually do want to help others like how all healthcare providers should be. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and LACK OF GOOD WORK ETHICS!
So I went to this place for a consultation appointment at 2:30 pm yesterday. I was there on time, then I checked in and signed a bunch of paperwork that makes medical care so expensive here and exonerates everyone in the process in case I get screwed. Then, I sat down in the lobby patiently awaiting to get my name called. A little later, another gentleman came in and told the front desk that he had a 2:45 appointment, and he did pretty much the same things as I did. After another 5 minutes or so, his name got called and he went inside. I didn't give it much thought thinking he could be seeing a different doctor than mine. Then later, another old lady came in for her appointment, I didn't hear what she said about her appointment time, and she got called rather quickly, but I was still waiting. After half an hour of waiting, my patience was running out, so I went to the front desk and asked them why people who had come after me went in before me. Well, my complaint kinda worked, my name got called and I was put into a room to wait. While I was waiting, I heard a doctor speak to a patient in an adjacent room, and it was a female doctor. I happened to know that my doctor was a female too. So I patiently waited for a good 5-10 minutes, and when I had a pretty good idea that the doctor was done with the patient and was walking out, I opened my door and saw the gentleman with the 2:45 appointment accompanied by a female doctor, who was the very same doctor that would finish me with my consultation in a few minutes. At that point, I was beyond being upset, but I kept my cool. Before I left, I requested a meeting with their office manager who patronized me with some bogus reasons that the front desk young lady was new, it was her 2nd day at work, lack of training, blah, blah, blah. Come on, I had been waiting in the lobby for over half an hour, and she was obviously the more senior one than the other dude. What really troubles me is why they would arrange not to see me with an appointment at 2:30 for a 5-minute consultation, instead they chose to see a patient with an appointment at 2:45 1st for a half an hour visit. Could it be that they enjoyed keeping a foreigner-looking individual waiting as he didn't look he belonged in the 1st place? That I don't really know, I certainly hope not. But isn't it an interesting time in which we live. Full disclosure: I am a Chinese, the gentleman is either a hispanic or southern Asian, the lady is white.

Very professional Very knowledgeable No excessive unnecessary wait time Like other provider who wants to make themselves feels important unnecessarily
How embarrassing to share a hemorrhoid issue online but it’s a human issue and I am grateful to Dr.Lee and Dr. Grace for their careful care and quick treatments!!
5 Stars I've been a patient at Digestive Disease Consultants of Orange County for many years and have always received excellent care. Recently, I had a health emergency and needed a prompt appointment and procedure. The team scheduled and completed everything within 24 hours -- truly impressive! Dr. David Choi was warm, funny, professional, and made me feel completely at ease during a very stressful time. The entire staff is courteous, prompt, and highly professional. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Choi to anyone seeking top-quality gastroenterology care. Thank you, Dr. Choi and the DDC team!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
