Don T. Bui's Online Review Report Card

Both of the Front desk receptionists (Hispanic and Asian ) working on 3/29/23 at 9amBoth rude and unprofessional. Very unpleasant to deal with. Both need to be retrained in customer service / in office etiquettes . First impressions assures potential patients that they are at a facility with professional and caring staff. Contrary this was not experienced at this office. However, Dr. Bui was very helpful and reassuring with the treatment options.

As a doctor he's a good guy. The appointment line is frustrating to say the least. The fact that an existing patient cannot speak with his office for an urgent matter is terrible.

The front desk doesn't answer the phone. I needed to see Dr. Bui ASAP because of acute pain. They put me on hold for 45 minutes before I got tired and hung up. I'm a current patient and this is absurd. I will be finding a new urologist. I'm disgusted by the lack a professionalism by his staff.

His office and staff are terrible. I have been trying to fix my name and ultrasound order for 20 days. Doctor himself is more likely try to finish his visit asap. My visit did not take more than 2 minutes. No explanation and follow up questions and not try to focus to help you for your pain or issue.

I have been seeing Dr. Bui at the Fountain Valley and Newport Beach locations of OC Urology Associates for 7 months to fix a uretural stricture. He has installed and removed a uretural stent and performed a Pyeloplasty operation using the DaVinci robot. I have been very impressed with Dr. Bui's knowledge, proficiency, and explanations. He has great concern for the patients comfort. I would recommend Dr Bui to a close family member.

Dr.Don Bui is awesome. He takes time to hear you out and spends time. He is very knowledgeable.

Quite possibly the worst doctor I have ever been to. He is arrogant to the point of being annoying, has a horrible bedside manner. Avoid this guy at all costs. If you got him as a referral from your primary care physician (as I did) ask for a different doctor. I have told my primary care physician what a bad experience I had and never to refer anyone to this guy again.

I have been calling to make an appointment for 2 weeks!!!! when i finally get to speak with a person, they are rude and act like they are doing you a favor... they are not friendly or helpful. I am not in the medical billing or admin profession - I don't understand some of your terms. Your staff should be helping me understand and what they are asking for. After seeing all the negative reviews below, how is your office still in business?

I got the insurance approval for my surgery 22 days ago. I have been calling every day to schedule my surgery. No one responds. How do they get away with this level of incompetence I may switch drs. I'mPissed !!!

This is the most efficient and well-run office I have ever visited. The staff is unbelievably kind and patient. Most of the other patients were elderly and listening to the staff communicate, it is clear that they care about their patients' well-being. I have been here twice and both times I waited less than five minutes to be seen. Dr. Bui is professional and generous with his time, taking an extra moment to explain and ensure you understand his process. Exemplary service.
