We were so lucky to meet dr nishanian at hoag ER, my father has a huge abdominal aneurysm which needs to be repaired asap, He had to refer my father to another surgeon because of his insurance but he constantly tried to reach his insurance and primary doctor to make sure he is in a good hands which is obviously not his duty. it's all about his kind heart and caring for his patients even if he only met them at ER. My family and i will be so grateful for all his favors no matter what's the outcome of my fathers medical situation. i just wanna say THANK YOU and GOD BLESS you and your family

Great bedside manors, caring and very knowledgeable in his field.

Dr Nishanian is a brilliant surgeon. The Dr did a recent endarterectomy on me as i was 80% blocked in my carotid and he explained everything in great detail before and after the surgery. He is a very thorough, personable, caring Dr. Dr. saved my life as iam sure many others of his patients lives due to his skills. I thanked him with all sincerity for the surgery he performed on me. I would recommend Dr. Nishanian to anyone needing a vascular surgeon.

I think Dr. Nishanian is a very brilliant, knowledgable Dr. Doctor Nishanian did a very recent endarterectomy on me as having 80% blockage on my right side of my carotid. Zero stars. I had to chose at least 1 star to post this. I've called Dr. Nishanian's office since Wednesday, July 25th and every time I call, I get their answering service. Today is Friday, July 27th. I called at 9:40am, 10:12am and 2:41pm. Answering service. The answering service says they're emailing the dr's office my messages, which total roughly 10-12 messages over 2 days. Unacceptable.

Dr. Nishanian is just amazing. I got wonderful results and his office is organized & friendly. Ivonne is his nurse and she is the best! They run a little late due to his thoroughness & he really gets to know his patients. Well worth the wait!!!

If you're looking for the typical specialist Doctor who spends a few minutes with you then Dr. Nishanian is not the Doctor for you. A typical office appointment with him involves a lot of waiting, then a lot of personal attention and "face time" with the Doctor. The waiting is because he is spending so much time with each of his patients. I've had two appointments with him so far, and each included over a half hour talking with him. I doubt he schedules more than one patient an hour. He is conscientious about discussing all aspects of diagnosis and treatment including possible and recommended courses of action, risks, and options. If you want an extremely skilled, knowledgeable, personable, caring Doctor, then Dr. Nishanian is your guy!

Dr. Nishanian is the absolute best vascular surgeon you could have. He is extremely knowledgeable and very caring. I wish I still had him as my surgeon, however, he has moved out of my area and not available to me. If there were a way I could still be his patient, I would be! Don't ever hesitate to be a patient of his. You will be extremely pleased with his competency, caring bedside manner which is difficult if not impossible to find today, and quickly develop trust with his knowledge.
