List of Gunjan Bhatnagar, Md's Reviews
D. Bhatnagar was very kind to me, she took the time to Lisen to my concerns, rigth away she took the steps to take care of the next service i needed.
First office visit went well. Small space but front desk and nurse were very nice. Nurse practitioner, Vanessa, was very professional, friendly and informative. Follow up call was on time and pleasant. Haven't met Doctor yet.
Experienced Doctor! Dr. Bhatnagar has so much experience. She delivered 2 of my babies. She took the time to understand my wishes for Vbac, and worked with me as much as she could. I truly appreciate her as my OB and as a caring individual. Rocio and other staff are always friendly! Thank you!
Dr. Bhatnagar is caring and professional! I would recommend her. She will seek out your best method of treatment with simplicity and questioning all aspects of the patient before coming to a conclusion. Her practice is small but does not feel like that.
She's really a good doctor I had a great experience with my first born so again I'm going for my checkups and delivery with my second baby
She took a biopsy of the WRONG area of my wife's body. Need I say more? My wife, as she was laying down on the table for the procedure confirmed the area that needs to a biopsy with Dr. Gunjan Bhatnagar. Then the doctor proceed to cut some flesh from my wife IN THE WRONG PLACE. This is not a thing you are allowed to make a mistake about. Like, you had one job, how do you mess that up when you confirmed where literally 1 minute before. Now we have to wait for another doctor, another test, and more weeks for results, while my wife has pain and a scar from a biopsy in the wrong place. My wife saw another competent doc who said the biopsy wasn't even necessary! She just needed some cream and all good. AND she collected money for a copay that she should NOT have collected, and even then it was $50 more than my usual copay and what she said she would charge. She also said even though the biopsy was in the wrong place, she would follow up with the results. She still hasn't done that either, over 6 weeks later. So let's see: biopsy in the wrong place!, didn't even need it, charged copay when no needed, and even then, overcharged the copay, never got back with test results!! We are looking into filing a malpractice suit.
I had my baby in July and probably mostly due to lack of sleep I kept forgetting to write a review but need to share it! My husband and I went to a different OBGYN in the area so I had never met Dr. Bhatnagar but as I'm in labor I found out my regular doctor would not be delivering and they told me it would be Dr. Bhatnagar. Being a rational person about to birth a child, I quickly got on my phone and found her Yelp. I was CONCERNED after seeing all the reviews. Dr. Bhatnagar came in to do the delivery extremely professional but also very kind. Her bedside manner was fantastic. I have no complaints. If you're in a similar situation looking at bad reviews, I hope you have the same positive experience I did because she was truly perfect.
Worst experience ever. Cold, rude, overbearing. Office is out-dated. Probably a lot of staff turnover. A new employee was being trained while I was there. Dr. referred me for a mammogram. The imaging center needed to see me again. They specifically told me my Dr. declined the mammogram re-check. I was told by doctors assistant that could not have happened . All I know is the imaging center could not see me a second time. My second appointment I was seen by Doctors Assistant (I guess a NP) the woman never introduced herself. She was just as disappointing as doctor. I was there for a UTI and the medical Assistant told me to get undressed. I was like why would I do that for a UTI. Front staff tries to be friendly, but it's not genuine.
Worst Experience Don't have professional ethics. Medical licence of such doctor should be cancelled. While admitted under her guidance l, no proper care was taken. Staff are tooo worst.
How there are any 5 star reviews is astonishing to me. On my first visit, Dr. Bhatnagar was incredibly cold and standoffish. She has a call button at her computer she uses to alert staff to come to the room like a dog. The way she treated what seemed like a new medical assistant was so heartbreaking and uncomfortable. I gave her so much information about me as she asked and the ONLY thing she cared to notate is that I was fat. She told me she would only be doing 2 ultrasounds then entire pregnancy then used a handheld Doppler to try and find baby's heartbeat and couldn't. She sent me away with orders to get labwork and an ultrasound because her tiny, dirty office is not fully equipped. Second appt I was asked to completely undress and cover myself and wait patiently for the doctor. She came in and I let her know I was uncomfortable (partially from being fully naked with a stranger and second from her cold attitude the first visit.) I promptly let her know that I was a sexual assault survivor and I feel uncomfortable because I don't know her yet but once I do it'll get better. She came up to my face and bent over and said "Hi! I'm Dr. Bhatnagar!" in the most facetious tone I've ever heard from a doctor. She then proceeded to do the pap which was uncomfortable but she did explain every motion she was doing until I started tearing up. She seemed to get agitated and stopped talking to me. Without warning she shoved herself inside of me to do an internal and I broke down. After all of that she told me to sit up and if I wanted to get changed in front of her I could or I could just wait. She proceeded to notate AGAIN that I was fat but NOTHING about sexual assault trauma or anything that should truly be notated. I asked if me being fat was going to cause so many issues that it needed to be notated at every appt, then why are we not checking on baby more frequently. She said "well IS it a problem??" And I said "IDK is it???" angrily. She said me being fat would present a higher risk for c section and poor healing. That was it. Nothing else was explained. I've made a formal complaint with insurance and I will be posting this on every review site. With all of these one star reviews, I don't know how medi-cal/cal-optima is still working with her and allowing her to cause medical violence to so many people. Ps. I've never left a poor review anywhere but I truly want people to stay away from this office for their personal safety.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process.
