Doctor was very kind and helpful!
I had to prepare for a week for this procedure. Office visit, filling out all their forms, Covid test which did not need to be done according to the surgery center, stop certain meds, 21 hours no food clear liquid only and then do their procedure for cleaning out your system which was very humiliating and painful then wake up at 4:30 AM to do the procedure again. I arrive at the surgery center with my friend who was dropping me off because they say I would not be able to drive this was at 6:15AM my procedure was scheduled at 7:30 AM. When we get there they tell me I am not scheduled and to sit down until they figured it out. Well they called Dr. Lee he said he is running late and his office has all the paperwork. I was told they will fit you into the schedule. You think I would be first because I had all the paperwork from Dr. Lee which clearly showed I was scheduled at 7:30AM on that day. I asked the reception people several times how long is this going to be she kept telling me I don’t know. I even asked for my insurance card and CDL back and she said she had to keep it. Finally my friend and I talked to another receptionist at 7:45 and finally at 8:45 they still had no idea when I would be scheduled. We inquired why and she said Dr. Lee’s office does not open until 9:00. Why didn’t they tell me that at 6:15 instead one lady tells me they are working on the schedule to get me in. The other one said they can’t do anything until Dr.Lees office opens. They had no idea when I would be scheduled. That’s when I called it quits I was hungry, did not sleep all night because of the pain in my stomach, dehydrated and feeling lightheaded . If I go without eating I get an upset stomach and I really felt like I was going to vomit. I even told the receptionist I wasn’t feeling well and they didn’t even care. I tried numerous times to call Dr. Lee’s office and only get a recording which says we will get back to you by the next business day. When I was there for my appointment the two young ladies at the front desk had a lot of time to talk to each other while I was sitting there, answer the phone. Not only did you inconvenience me but also the person who was dropping me off. Extremely disappointed with how Dr. Lee does business.
My mom has been going to the Dr over 3 years and he misdiagnosed her symptoms. Mom has stage 3 colon cancer which could of been easily recognized 3 years ago. Terrible... Terrible...

I am so thankful that Dr. Lee has helped my mom for recover from stomach cancer by referring her to Monoclonal antibody treatment. My mom is 92 years old now, she has been found 10centimeter stomach cancer last year. De Lee found her cancer was full of H pylori infection, he said his classmate at national university has been well renown on colleagues who had worked with US company treating H pylori reduced stomach cancer. She was treated with endoscopic way and had the cancer removed. My mom is celebrating her 92 years old birthday.
Dr. Lee has been my PCP for over 30 years. He truly wants to help people and is very caring, and knowledgeable. He is not quick to recommend medications, or unnecessary procedures. I have had serious GI issues since I was in college and no GI specialists at the major city in the Midwest was able to give me relief. I just suffered for decades.
When my job transferred me to SoCal, I found Dr.Lee over 20 yrs ago and have felt VERY blessed ever since!
Not only has this very brilliant man used his cuttingedge knowledge and techniques to help me better navigate back to health, he has given me the optimism that despite my upper and lower GI issues, much can be done to continue to improve my quality of life AND to live a long life. Yay!!!
For those that say he has a busy office, I say yes, it is BECAUSE he is a very good MD.
I even convinced my conservative husband to switch to Dr.Lee and he couldn't be happier!
We both have had many years of successful GI procedures by Dr.Lee and I can HONESTLY say that we do not dread our colonoscopies nor upper GI's by Dr.Lee.
He makes it comfortable and the results are RELIABLE.
We TRUST DR.Lee w/our lives and reco him to all!
THANK YOU DR.Lee and staff! I read other reviews, both positive and negative, and feel strongly that Dr. Lee deserves FIVE stars. He is a very caring doctor and gave a detailed explanation of my test results. He is an expert in the digestive disease field, and I am confident of his diagnosis and follow-up treatments. Also, Dr. Lee's English is very fluent and I don't understand why people had difficulty communicating with him. I would recommend Dr Lee to my friends.

I was a patient of Dr. Lees late 80s /early 90s. He was investigating for possible crohns disease/parasites from flying for airline company. I am now scheduled at Mayo Jax for a cat scan after having a colonoscopy that showed ulcers /scar tissue in the illeum. Working diagnosis is ileal crohns disease.Dr. Lee was SO helpful when I first started on this journey to figure out what was happening to me. I thought he might be interested in the story. I am sending him my regards on his website.
