Herbert Lee's Online Review Report Card

Not at all knowledgable. I ended up going to UCI Medical Center and the GI even said this doctor gave me awful medical advice. Will suggest treatments just for money. Please seek second opinion after going to this doctor or better yet don't go in the first place.

Excellent doctor and very caring. Listens to your concerns. Very patient and understanding. Dr Lee been my doctor for years.

Having just seen Dr. Lee for my upper GI, I have only very positive things to say about him. Not only is he a VERY smart man, but he is one of THE most compassionate MD's that you will ever meet. His office staff has become so professional and has adapted very well to the changing landscape of old school/ in-person assistance as well as the digital communications of many patients. Not easy to accomplish, but his office staff is now much better and it is appreciated. I've relied on Dr. Lee for over a couple of decades and have introduced him to other family members who also sing his praises. This man is a person who KNOWS what he is doing and stays AHEAD of the curve. Strongly recommend Dr. Lee if you want to focus on BOTH, QUALITY of life AND LONGEVITY. Thanks, Dr. Lee and staff! Looking forward to many more years of quality health, because of your ongoing efforts!

Excessive procedures, poor scheduling, poor commun We’ve been going to Dr Lee for many years now and can’t shake the feeling that he does too many procedures (endoscopies, EGD, etc) for us. Never experienced so many procedures for GERD and related illness and wonder if these are truly necessary. On top of all this, his scheduling leaves much to be desired. We came in today for a 8:30am appointment, was told it’s a couple hours and we would be called to pick up. I called at 11 am to check on my husband as it was already a long time, but they “turned the phones off” and didn’t leave any way to contact. Tried again close to noon, no response on phone so drove over. Turns out they were just getting him into the room! So they let him sit there for 3 hours waiting. I can’t say if they just were disorganized or put someone in front of him or ??? All I can say is I was very worried something went wrong and with no phone response or updates it’s easy to add to family’s worry. I would stop coming here and do not recommend Dr Lee.

Dr. Herbert Lee is one of the finest Dr in Orange County for Gastrointestinal treatment. He has great skills and knowledge and cares about the patient. His office team is also a great help. based on my experience I strongly recommend this Dr for any gastro intestinal surgery or service.

I have been seeing Dr. Herbert Lee for many years and he is an extremely caring and very knowledgeable physician. I highly recommend Dr. Lee to anyone.

A very good doctor. Doctor Lee made the procedure an easy one for me. There was no pain and nothing uncomfortable. The whole thing was less than two hours, and I felt I could walk or drive easily when the nurse walked me out. Now it has been a few months and everything is fine. The doctor talked to me once before the procedure and once after, and one was in Chinese and the other one was in English, in lots of details. He speaks both languages fluently. He also suggested an ultrasound procedure for me, and luckily a potential problem was found in time.

My husband had a screening colonoscopy with Dr. Lee. During the pre-procedure visit, Dr. Lee took time and explained what causes colon cancer and how colonoscopy works. He answered all our questions. We have no issues to understand him. The screening colonoscopy procedure went well. Dr. Lee's team is very professional and is very nice. Their charge for the screening colonoscopy is very competitive and reasonable. It is true that they are a little hard to reach by phone. We had luck calling them in the afternoon.
