Had a referral for a dermatology consultation with Dr. (Jack) Hien Tran today. Had no problem scheduling an appointment with him at the FV office within 1 1/2 week. No waiting time at appointment. Dr. Tran was personal yet professional. He listened attentively to my concerns and examined the areas of concerns. He then explained his findings to me in a manner that was easy to understand. I was very pleased overall with the entire office . Thank you Dr. Tran for seeing me today.

Doctor Jack Tran treats you like you are on welfare if you have an HMO plan. You are allocated 15 minutes but he’ll just spend 2 minutes on you and if you have any other questions. He will just tell you that you have an HMO plan so go back and get a referral.

BLEEDING MOLES and Dr Hein Tran did not want to remove saying it is a COSMETIC procedure! I’ve waited 2 months with bleeding moles for an appointment to have him say they are COSMETIC, and he will not do it. BLEEDING MOLES are not cosmetic, you just lack empathy to your patient’s pain complaint’s that is what this is about! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS USELESS DOCTOR!

This doctor cares.....he explains everything very well and makes sure questions are answered. He is qualified to do MOHS surgery and is an excellent doctor! Highly recommend him.

Saw Dr Tran in 2020 when he freeze killed several skin tags. Revisited the office 2 months later for a resurfaced eyebrow tag. Treated by a PA this time, who released freeze gas onto the eye on the way to the eyebrow, causing vision blurring . Changed many contacts, & eventually saw an Ophthalmologist. Vision recovered after 6 weeks. A year later, same treatment by a Scripps PA, infinitely more capable.

I saw Dr Tran in the Hoag Huntington Beach office for my yearly skin check . I also addressed some concerns about my skin that I had. He was very nice, addressed all concerns, and I felt very comfortable talking to him. He is knowledgeable and personable. The reception staff was very helpful and polite. I am very happy to have found Dr. Tran for my dermatology needs.
