Hoag Clinic's Online Review Report Card

Hoags reputation made me eager to build my provider team within the Hoag Medical Group. I have been so fortunate to work with Dr. Macauley and Dr. Creamer. Their availability professionalism responsibility compassion and care are outstanding.

I highly recommend this facility. Everyone is friendly and work hard to get you in and out with thorough care.

I took my daughter in today for a sore throat the staff at this location are patient professional and truly care. We both appreciate the staff at this location. I highly recommend this urgent care. Thanks again

I have been coming to this Urgent Care for several years and have always had a great experience. They are super fast and efficient and have short wait times compared to other Urgent Cares. You can book a walk in time within a couple of walking in and they check you in on the phone. They have always had a super nice staff. My only critique is that they didnt  recommend any treatments or provide any substantial guidance for my positive Covid diagnosis.

Great doctor great staff knew what they were doing werent playing around or giving run around like other urgent care figured out what was wrong with me right when I got there and he continued to hear me out until we figured out a solution. 10 out of 10 spot.

If you are a nonwhite person you will probably not be prescribed any medication here. They go to great lengths for African American people to not get medication. 4th time here where I have had to do somewhere else to actually get medication. This is beyond bad

This urgent care location is awesome. The provider and front office assistants were knowledgeable welcoming and kind. It was a wonderful relief to receive such great care. I will definitely go back if a need arises

Had to do a Covid test and I looked around in the neighborhood where one might be available. Same day seemed available at Hoag only and when I saw their setup I understood why they are in a class by themselves in terms of organization efficiencies and customer focus. It starts with entering the data in an online appointment not only was it simple but I found them the only ones who used technology and AI to extract data from the insurance card so one skips manually entering long numbers. The test itself is administered in the parking lot a tech came out for a swab within 5 minutes of texting them my arrival. 5 minutes later a nurse practitioner called and conducted a phone screening and that was that. 30 minutes later I got a text with the results. I cannot imagine how my experience could have been smoother and I how the staff could have been more courteous and professional. I really think they set the standard in terms of efficiency courtesy and professionalism. An A+ experience.

Just came back from this office for a regular check up. Im going to make this location my new go to location. This visit is the best Drs visit Ive ever had.I usually go to the Woodbury location due to convenience but this visit at the Los Olivos location has opened my eyes. For reference I was at the Hoag Woodbury location just a few days ago with a morning appointment for a flu shot only. I showed up 5 minutes early for my appointment and it took them ~38 minutes to see me for a 30 second flu shot. Hmmmmmm????Anyway lets keep this positive and about how awesome this location Los Olivos is. The staff is super friendly safe and efficient. I showed up 20 min early for a mid afternoon appointment and they saw me within 5 minutes of walking in the door. After getting checked in vitals screening questions and left alone in the room I couldnt have waited more than 2 minutes for the Dr. to arrive. 1st world problems but can you believe I was very slightly annoyed that he was so fast and interrupted the puzzle level I was playing on my phone?? Dr. Macauley was great. He was attentive and walked me through what needed to be done and what to watch out for. I didnt feel rushed and he didnt make me feel like I was asking annoying questions which I was. Dr. Macauley made me feel that he truly cared for my health and well being vs asking questions to check boxes so he could get to his next patient. 55 starsThe nurse please forgive me I forgot her name that took care of me was patient and extremely skilled. For not being a full time phlebotomist she easily found the vein and completed my blood draw in the smoothest fashion I have ever experienced. Everything else she took me through was also a smooth and positive experience. Id give her 65 stars if I could.Overall Id 100% highly recommend this Hoag location to anyone.If you come here because of my review dont fck it up for the rest of us. I came here for a Covid test. I booked an appointment the same day I was feeling symptoms. Dont worry I am negative LOL. But I just wanted to say the experience was amazing. I pulled up and was taken care of immediately. The staff was extremely proficient and communicated directly and effectively. The entire process was five minutes long. Im not sure if that is a typical experience but it was very nice. I really hope my insurance covers the cost otherwise it will be almost $300. That is the only problem. But that has nothing to do with the experience I had. Thank you for working so hard and making my visit so enjoyable even amidst the circumstance of a boring visit. What normally is tedious and terrible was simple quick and dare I say fun. I stayed in my car the whole time and received results within 15 min.
