I would give ZERO if I could. After 3 Hoag urgent care visits went to ER was given and IV with fluids recently got bill for $9000.00 I left there still very ill had to go to a 4th urgent care where I was given antibiotics unbelievable 😢

Do not go here or send a loved one to the ER if they are having mental health issues. I was there because I was having a mental health crisis and I was literally treated like a piece of shit. I had no rights no voice. They did not pay any attention to anything I was trying to communicate! Do not go here. Terrible terrible hospital. When you already feel bad enough to go to the ER the last thing you want them to do is make you feel guilt and shame for being there.

I’ve sat in many ERs across the OC due to having elderly parents. Hoag Irvine ER is by far the best in my opinion. Staff are courteous. Nursing staff and medical doctors are skilled in their professions. A huge shoutout to Annie in ER for her exemplary service. Her professionalism and knowledge; empathy and kindness helped immensely. Dr. Lori Ludeman was kind and courteous.

Wasting of time in the ER. When someone comes to ER, needs rapid care. Time is very important for patients in ER, otherwise they made appointments with their doctors. They need to hire more doctors and nurses to provide faster service.
