List of Hoag Urgent Care Woodbury's Reviews
I had such a wonderful experience today at Hoag Urgent Care–Irvine. Every staff member—from the nurses to the X-ray technician and even the front desk staffs—was incredibly kind and welcoming. Dr. Cindy H. Lee, in particular, was outstanding. She quickly identified the source of my hand pain, explained the necessary tests and results thoroughly, and gave me clear guidance on how to recover as quickly as possible. Her professionalism and kindness made a huge difference for me. I’ve visited urgent care a few times before, but today was by far the best experience I’ve had. I’m truly grateful to all the doctors, nurses, and staff who dedicate themselves to caring for patients even on holidays. I will definitely recommend Hoag Urgent Care–Irvine to my friends based on today’s experience👍👍👍 Thank you so much!!!
ER Care Professional , Friendly , on time , concerned. I highly recommend any Hoag Facility
Thanks to. J Alejandro, WHO took care of me . The staffer was very nice also . Good job
The problem these days with medical centers isn't that the doctors are bad perse but that the front desk staff is untrained or possibly uneducated. I called my insurance before I went to this place and my insurance is accepted. When I went in around 6PM these 2 girls at the front blatantly lied to me and told me that the establishment did not take my insurance. It's even listed on their website... Did they even verify.. I don't know, maybe lied about that too. Then proceeded to inform me that it will cost me $300 to see a doctor. LOL! Suffice it to say, I went elsewhere. Hoag, if this is your policy.. yikes, people, be informed and be aware.
David is an amazing nurse in your team at the Hoag Woodbury Urgent Care . He administered the Hepatitis B vaccine with ease and comfort. The ladies in the front office as well were so efficient and helpful and I don't need to wait for 2 hours even though it was just a walk in.
Be aware that the radiology service such as X ray is billed as hospital ER care tax code. This section of the room is not part of urgent care property, but part of Hoag hospital. The billing will show up as hospital ER care. So the bill will be much greater. It is very deceptive since you expect it to be Urgent Care and not have to be concerned about how it is classified. I contacted Hoag customer care and the person was really understanding why I am upset and why it is high billing. He explained I need to ask the cashier for type of services and what their tax code will be for each service done. All radiology service is part of Hoag Hospital tax code and not Urgent Care. Only std doctor office and annual check up would the bill be taxed like a std office. This applies for any treatment you get. Make sure the way it is billed and who service it is defined or walk away. Try to find care where all services is done in house and not outsourced.
Doctor listened to my medical concerns and addressed all of them, he was very kind and told me multiple times that I could call or come back if I had concerns. I felt he went above and beyond and took great care of me. Front office was very kind and was on time and they got me back to my appointment and X-ray in great timing
Fast, efficient and kind. Very thorough.
They were very helpful from the time I walked in. Explained the forms. Found my info that was taken another time. Very short wait for care. Dr explained all
All was excellent except office experience when I was asked if I had a reservation? Is that necessary?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
